In summary

The Golf Club at Rio Vista is appreciated for its beautiful layout, friendly staff, and well-maintained greens, offering a good value for money. The club features various amenities, including a gym, restaurants, and a swimming pool, and is set in a pleasant residential community. However, some visitors have noted the need for improvements in fairway maintenance and drainage, with certain areas being muddy or overgrown. Despite these issues, many acknowledge ongoing efforts to enhance the course's overall condition.

Great course for the value. Played Saturday super twilight and it felt like we had the course to ourselves. The fairway and greens looked great. Greens were smooth, challenging but fun. Layouts had hidden ponds and bunkers but wide enough to be able to play in regulation.

Nice course to play. Now that the owners took back ownership it has big plans for improvement. Its just unfortunate that some of the employees in the golf shop are to uptight. Maybe they should retire for the second time..

Every 6 months the course gets better and better. It was really bad 3 years ago. But they are working on it and it's coming around. It's ok right now but it will be a good course in another 3 years.

Great residential course feel, but looks like a abandoned muni course. Greens were in good shape, but the rest of it could use some TLC.

Beautiful weather and not too crowded. Course has improved dramatically from two years ago. New management has done well. With decreased watering in effect, some areas are browning up under the recent intense heat. Course still very playable. After the recent winter's rain, the course has greened up marvelously and the grill was quite busy at 6 p.m. with karaoke and a mostly full restaurant.
