In summary

The Golf Club of Quincy is appreciated for its scenic, hilly layout and welcoming community atmosphere, with many visitors enjoying the Southern cuisine buffet offered at the clubhouse. However, some golfers have expressed concerns about the condition of the greens and the pace of play, noting issues with crabgrass and slow rounds due to large groups on the course. Despite these criticisms, the club remains a popular choice for its affordability and friendly staff.

This layout has excellent potential. However, they have no idea how to run a golf course. Tees condition rates as a 0 stars; fairways rate as 1 star...lots of bare spots and the grass, well could it be called grass? I don't think so. Greens I'll give 2 stars to at this time of year but could be higher in the spring. But the worst part of my experience was waiting. Ok so I was a single walk up player. I get that I'll only get fitted in when possible. But I waited 2 hours, not because there were no spots available, I could have walked, but I'm seventy and my walking days are over. The reason I…

During lunch hours they have menu or buffet "open to the public" We were traveling and saw this on "trip advisor" we have the buffet. Southern food at it's finest. I had the pleasure of meeting the chef "Betty". She definitely knows how to make collard greens, and black eyed peas. We paid $17 each, definitely give them a try.

Several coworkers have been talking about this place the past couple of months, but due to my work schedule, I never got the chance to try it out. I recently had the opportunity to try the lunch at the Golf Club of Quincy this past Wednesday and it didn't disappoint. I was so busy eating, I only took one photo. This is unlike me, because I normally take and post numerous photos during my reviews. I started out with mixed vegetables, rice, ox tails, and fried chicken. Needless to say, my next plate consisted of the same items. I finished up with dessert, which was banana pudding with fresh sli…

Really enjoy this course. Lot of nature and we always see at least a deer and a there is an all white squirrel almost always on the 17th hole playing near the trees!

The Golf Club of Quincy isn’t just a beautiful course nestled in the heart of Gadsden County, it’s a cornerstone of community. With its rolling greens, peaceful scenery, and welcoming atmosphere, the club offers more than just a great game of golf, it offers connection. We are incredibly grateful for the Golf Club of Quincy’s continued support of Robert F. Munroe Day School. From hosting fundraising events to cheering on our mission, they’ve shown time and again that they’re committed to investing in the future of our students and teachers. The Club Manager Ben, goes above and beyond to make e…

After hearing good things about this course, I was excited to drive 1.5 hours and give it a shot. The old guy working the pro shop was a sour puss and acted like he didn't want to deal with anyone. I will say that the lady who worked behind the bar was very friendly. We go to the driving range to warm up, and it's just yardage markers way to the left side with no references or targets. It's not a big deal, but it's not great. The golf carts were nice enough. No GPS, but i didn't expect that at most courses. They struggled a little getting up hills and were fun to drive downhill. The layout is…

This is a nice country course on a great piece of property. Hilly contours and mini-vistas keep us coming back from out of town over and over. The greens are soft and spongy, the fairways are "fair", and everything else is hard and dry.

Great course for a good price. Very hilly so the gas carts definitely come in handy.

I have been coming to this Golf Course since I was 12 years old and this course helped me fall in love with the sport of Golf, wonderful staff, and its challenging but very scoreable if you are on top of your game, all in all love it, and will be coming to this course every time I return to Quincy

I agree with the past two reviews. This COULD be a great golf course, but they must get serious about their GREENS...! They weren't bad, they were horrible...! You can't charge $40 to play and not have at least decent Greens! I will not return until I see a couple reviews that confirm that the owners have chosen to address these sadly disappointing Greens!

I love this course. The lay out is great and have been playing here for years BUT the greens are the worst I’ve ever seen. So much crab grass you don’t know where your ball is going. They make excuses it’s bc of the winter months but you can go to any other course is this area and play for the same price or cheaper and they have no issues with keeping their greens great. It’s been on going for 2 years now. Either lower the price or do better Quincy. I feel like I’m putting in my backyard
