Playing at Knoll Golf Club West feels like a really solid middle ground between a public course and a private club. The semi-private setup gives it a more relaxed atmosphere, but the course itself is maintained at a level that often feels closer to private. Conditions were very good throughout the round, especially the greens and fairways, and the layout has enough character to stay interesting the whole way through. The practice facilities are a big plus, and the food afterward was surprisingly good for a golf course grill. It may not have the exclusivity of a fully private club, but overall…

My daughter and son-in-law chose The Knolls for the site of their wedding for many reasons, from beauty of the setting to the way the General Manager Kypros Andreau made them feel from the very first meeting they had with him, to the idea of one major event at a time (not multiple weddings going on concurrently) in addition to overall high quality and cost-effectiveness. That is a high bar of expectations and the wedding, which took place exactly one month ago, exceeded every one of these expectations and more. I had a fantastic time as the Mother of the Bride and I am still getting compliment…

Semi-private with excellent course conditions even in the face of record rain fall in region. Tough but fair track with plenty of room to improve as they work to get food & beverage back up to par. Great short game area as well to allow some practice before your time on the box.

I cannot recommend this place enough. Kyp is one of the best people in the world. Made us feel like family and our wedding was perfect. Thank you to all the staff for making our day the best it could be. Also, the food is delicious.

Club pro very unprofessional. Threatened to have police tow my vehicle and made sure to embarrass me by putting notification alert on the golf cart screen. I immediately contacted him he was very nasty. Hands down horrible person. I do not recommend this place at all !!!! BTW: There was plenty of parking available there was no reason for this treatment. I have and will continue to share, on all social media platforms how i was treated

Course is very open and has a good variety of holes. The workers are usually pretty nice and help you out. Golf carts can be difficult at times when they shut off and you have to figure out where to go to get it back on, but it’s manageable. Course is reasonably priced and I have had very enjoyable days on this course. Would definitely recommend to locals looking for a nice golf spot.

Beautiful course in Boonton. Nice, wide open fairways and challenging holes. A TAD expensive if you're not with a member but not unreasonable.

One of my favorite golf courses in NJ. I am usually in the mid 90s and shot an 88 there. It's a great course that is well maintained! The clubhouse is beautiful and the food/drinks are great as well.
