The Legends Golf Course

We stayed here for 2 nights during thanksgiving week and were so impressed with the Coyote cabin. The cabin is well equipped for an extended stay with staples, normal size appliances and dining inside and outside. The 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were clean and comfortable and the rooms stayed cool and dark at night for a comfortable nights sleep. We will definitely be staying here again when we are in the area.

I recently played at Legends Golf Course in Kingsland, TX. The course itself is beautiful and very well maintained—definitely one of the highlights of the trip. However, the overall experience was frustrating due to how play was managed. We were booked right in the middle of a tournament without any prior notice. This led to significant delays, with each hole taking about 15 minutes longer than normal. At one point, play was stopped due to lightning. The place is truly amazing and so relaxing!!! The thing they do right though is CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! You will leave from this place with lifelong memories and you will feel quite a bit spoiled! What an epic weekend! Deana and the team were incredible hosts and so welcoming. We stayed in the 3 cabins and they were fantastic for our large group. Course was also in great shape! Eleven out of ten!

Golf course is in great shape, fairways to greens, sand traps could be better but fair. A challenging course but it rewards good shots. Greens were as good as it gets. 11/15/2025.

First, let me say that I heard about this course years ago and finally got to play today. I LOVED the layout, lots of fun AND beautiful holes and scenery. Course was in pretty great shape and greens rolled nicely. I’ve played golf for 26 years now and this is the ONLY golf course I’ve ever seen that has ZERO drinking water on the course. We were not warned of this, there were no water bottles in the ice chests and no beverage cart either. I don’t know if it’s because they’re too cheap or lazy, but that’s crazy to me. Enjoyed playing a round of golf on your course. Beautifully maintained. Your Marshall asked us to pick up the pace of play however , no one was in front of us nor behind for at least a full hole. We all were questioning that.

We only played golf, certainly enjoyed the course. Checking staff was very cordial and friendly. Course in great shape. Plan to play again.

I played golf only. I live in Kingsland and consider Legends my home course. It’s thoughtfully laid out, and offers as much challenge as you want. The staff does an excellent job maintaining the place in spite of fairly heavy usage. The sand traps are numerous and often hard. The pro shop staff is wonderfully accommodating and very professional. It’s a good track to play any time.

Good course. Greens weren’t great but can’t expect more for Texas. Workers were very nice. Unfortunately 3 times during our round the greens keepers were mowing the green and had the flag out. Also, for some reason there wasn’t any drinkable water anywhere on the course except for the clubhouse.

Did not stay just golf. The course was really good! Nothing bad about that course. Will definitely be going back. Staff was so good
