In summary

Lakecliff Country Club is frequently praised for its excellent course conditions, particularly the well-maintained greens and the appealing Arnold Palmer design layout. Visitors often commend the friendly and professional staff, as well as the quality dining options and family-friendly events. However, some guests have expressed dissatisfaction with maintenance issues, such as closed holes and aerated greens, without prior notice, and the lack of on-course amenities like drink carts.

Amazing greens perfectly true roll and the course condition is top notch!! The new Italian chef, Michael in the Arnold Palmer 19th Hole - knocked it out of the park with the blackened redfish! WOW!! The staff was so friendly, I truly felt at home and able to relax and spend quality time with my friends and son. It feels like family at Lakecliff!

This course was in phenomenal shape. The staff was top-notch. I would love to be a member here. I was offered this experience to play as a guest. I would come back often if it was available to me. I would recommend this experience to anyone in the area.

Laurie and Dave are amazing owners and are visible there daily. The golf course is a lot of fun and really good for mid handicappers like me. The bar and restaurant are totally upgraded and expanded and the food is really good. I have never seen nicer restrooms on a golf course - they even put Buccees restrooms to shame😂. And the special events on July 4, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Christmas, etc are so family friendly and joyful.

Pretty nice greens, bent grass in Texas is awesome! I wish we had a great experience here but did not. $150+ round on a Saturday and no one told us they had just aerated the greens, took all the sand out of 95% of the bunkers, and had hole 13 and 17 just completely closed to punch the fairways. I mean, closing holes for maintenance at 1pm on a Saturday?? There was no drink cart going around either.

If you want to experience one of the prettiest, well-kept, tranquil courses around then you’ve found your new “golf home”. The members are not your average golf club members. There is no putting on of airs here. They are people you want to be friends with, and will be if you want to! The food is to die for. It should have a Michelin star 🌟! The events for tournaments or family/friend celebrations on holidays are extravaganzas. Everyone from toddlers to 90 year olds are having a blast: jumping castles, fireworks, live bands, bar/food and dancing. Depending on the holiday: Santa with presents, E…

Another terrific round at Lakecliff. Clubhouse and staff are nothing short of exceptional. Golf course is in terrific shape just like it is all year. Would definitely recommend making this track your mainstay. Greens are pure, rolling phenomenally. Course design is terrific; provides a challenge while still being very scoreable!

Good greens. Smaller club house but still nice. Super hard fairways, it’s like hitting off of a concrete floor, but that’s typical for west Austin. Beautiful course.

I had to create an account just to ensure I was able to share my experience with other people in hopes that this would not happen to them. Played this course a couple weeks back on a Saturday at 10am. For starters, we called into the Pro Shop and booked our Tee Time one week in advance since that was the earliest we were able to book ahead, but when we showed up, they did not have us in the system. Then, we each paid around $150/ea person for the full round. Come to find out, (2) of the holes were closed for maintenance and we were never made aware of this beforehand. All the bunkers were dug…

The course was in great condition, the staff was extremely friendly. My dad, who is from out of town said one of the best courses he has played, and was a great experience taking my son out for his first round of golf. We will definitely be back.

Lakecliff is one of the most beautiful courses in the area, the staff is fantastic and the Pro Andrew Wellings is great. The greens are bent grass and the layout is a Arnold Palmer Design. The course is not extremely hard but very well maintained and a very good test of golf from the back tees. It is a private club but if you have the opportunity to play it you need to go. Also it is probably the best membership value for a top level course in central Texas. If you play Lakecliff you will have a great golf experience. PS Have the "Cactus" wrap from Bill in the grill.
