In summary

Pedernales Cut N Putt is appreciated for its relaxed and casual atmosphere, friendly staff, and unique charm, making it a popular spot for social gatherings and events. However, many visitors express concerns about the course's condition, noting rocky fairways and a lack of maintenance, which can detract from the golfing experience. While the layout is praised for its potential and scenic setting, the course may not meet the expectations of those seeking a traditional, well-maintained golfing experience.

When Willie played golf and helped with the upkeep, this place was awesome. Now it's run by members who treat the course like their private off road course. The tee boxes are ok. The fairways are nonexistent. The greens are hit or miss. Plus it's $25 for 9 holes. It should be $10. Now if you're looking to play a round with 10 friends and get wasted, look no further. Just remember to bring a practice mat to hit out of the fairways.

I didn't play it, but wanted to see what the whole Willie Nelson thing was all about. By the looks of hole one and putting green, it's needs some love. I would have liked to see the layout as I read the course has character and a good layout. Maybe in the near future, but not this time.

Genuinely the worst golf course I’ve played. No upkeep whatsoever and some of the cart paths are just straight up dangerous and you can easily flip over. Your time and money is better spent at Hancock or Lions downtown. Even with no additional cart fee $25 is way too much for how terrible the course is. Don’t pay for 9 much less 18 holes.

Dear Willie, I understand the kids own it now, but for the love of God. Please help them get some irrigation for the rock farm fairways. It's a painful 9 hole course.

Pedernales is a great little 9-hole course that's perfect for a quick round. The layout is fun and relaxed, and it's never too crowded. The fairways can be a bit rocky in spots, but it's nothing that takes away from the overall experience. If you're looking for a casual, low-key game in a scenic setting, this place is a solid choice.

It’s an impressively bad course with very friendly staff :) So if you are looking for grass you need to hit from the tee box to the green because you will be hard pressed to find any on the fairways. If you are looking for a bachelor party to get drunk (BYOB) and hit a few balls… this fits the bill. If you want to actually play a good round I would look elsewhere.

0 stars was not available course fairways are dirt. Prices are high for the course. Kinda shit service. Basically expect the worse and be glad you found your ball. Real golfers avoid this place not worth it.

I get it. This is a novelty course. But it surprises me that Willie would allow his name to be used on a course that is in such unplayable shape. The layout and design of the nine-hole course is impressive. Great elevated tee boxes and greens. But the fairways are not hard as rocks - they are rocks! A perfect drive down the middle of the fairway can result in a ball that ricochets off rocks into the dense brush out of bounds and lost forever. The charm of the place lasts about two holes before you realize the risk of breaking an expensive iron and losing about 20 balls is not worth it. The sad…

This is the epidomy of cool in the hill country golf world. Fran at the clubhouse will take excellent care of you and you never know you might see out there.. Willie also generously loans the property for benefits and events that his heart is close to. You will love this place!

If you are looking to play on a course of good quality, sadly this is not the one. $82.00 and our group left at the 6th hole. The course was all brown, filled with rocks and 8 inch tall grass. It’s a goat farm with golf flags! I am not kidding.
