The Hills of Lakeway

It's a beautiful country club. We did not have dinner, but the staff was excellent at the event we attended.

$70 steak, fat and gristle. Not a good cut. No sides included. Ordered mashed potatoes, served cold. Steak over cooked. Not going back.

I am a member of Invited Club, which I assumed is a premium member service focused on providing value and hospitality to its members. However, I recently received an unsolicited cold call from Invited Club under the pretense of "helping me celebrate my birthday." This call was nothing more than a thinly veiled sales pitch, pitching either booking a private room rental or making dining reservations. It was completely out of line with the type of experience I expect as a paying member. I did not request or authorize this type of solicitation, and I find it highly inappropriate for Invited Club…

I’ve been an active member at The Hills for a while now, and it’s hands-down the best golf experience in Austin. Four great courses in the Hill Country—well-maintained, challenging, and fun. The staff is top-notch—friendly, professional, and always on point. I always enjoy seeing new members out there and getting the chance to bring friends and family—it's a treat every time.

Our family recently joined The Hills Country Club and we just had our first dinner at The Chophouse at the Hills Clubhouse. Our experience was amazing, the food was delicious, the space looked great overlooking the golf course, and the staff was very kind and gave us lots of attention on a Thursday night. They were particularly good with our two young children (4 and 7 yrs old), who are boys, and were hangry. I hosted my wedding with The Hills, July 19, 2020. We were booked originally for April 19, but due to Covid we had to push the date. I will start by saying, this group is quite amazing, and dedicated to keeping you happy. I had a rough start last year due to a high turnover of event coordinators. Reagan was hired in December and totally changed my opinion of this place, complete 180. Reagan and her team are incredible. End of story. I've been a Lakeway member for 10+ years and a Signature member for 6. The Hills of Lakeway community is tremendous and the club sits at the center of the neighborhood. The Hills staff works incredibly hard to maintain a great experience for the members. Food quality and selection has elevated tremndously. If you are a golfer, the signature course layouts are top notch and mens league play and events are a ton of fun and competitive. In addition, you have racquet, swimming and workout facilities at the World of Tennis. It's a great place to live an play!

Thank you to Kristina Nikulina and Abigail Payne on organizing our event on Saturday 3rd August at Flintrock Falls country club. Thank you to all those who also helped like Joshua Lowell, Zakh, Thomas Johnson, Frank (food was delicious) and others. The event was a major success. We had over 130 people and the staff took care of it with a great service. The room had surround sound, screens, good speakers and microphone to add to the success. Great customer service. The Hills is an amazing course. Their staff in the dining room are very bubbly and knowledgeable about the dishes they serve. I would go back here to eat every day. Also the management is awesome. If there are any issues they go above and beyond to make sure you leave with a smile.

Great place, wonderful atmosphere. Great food and service. I'm not so impressed with the administration staff. We held an event there, we had a great time but they over charged us $1000. Still after two weeks we still have not had the over charge refunded to our credit card. Need someone better than Parker.

Talked to the Restaurant Supervisor this morning. He's at half staff due to the flooding in the Austin area, specifically Lago Vista. Doesn't have his A-team. We will try again...
