In summary

Crystal Falls Golf Course is praised for its beautiful, scenic setting with significant elevation changes that offer a challenging and engaging layout. The staff is often described as friendly and accommodating, and the course provides modern amenities like GPS-equipped carts. However, some visitors have noted issues with course maintenance, including patchy greens and weedy fairways, as well as a slow pace of play and occasional customer service concerns.

A great experience well worth the price. Even the drive up there was beautiful this course is set in a mountain like environment. The wildlife in the area made it feel kind of like a bass pro experience after teeing off on hole 10 (we started on the back 9) a deer ran on to the fairway and through the course you can see the turtles in the water. Getting back to the golf I found this course challenging very easy to lose balls (I’m also not the best golfer). The fairways where well maintained and the greens where in great shape. This course was truly beautiful the views from this course where gr…

Tee boxes and greens were in bad shape, but the views and cost made up for it. One of the funniest courses in the area. Will definitely be back. Paid a discounted price of $40 for a 11am tee time on a Tuesday.

Crystal Falls in Leander is a friendly place with a challenging canyon course. A few times I've used the Golf Now App to play 18 holes for $36 before tax and fees. Springtime golf is when the courses in the Austin area are a lush green. The topography and elevations make the course a special treat. This course never gets boring and always keeps me thinking course management. The pro shop is well supplied. The golf carts have convenient GPS, but no USB plugs. They have recently contracted with the Cork and Barrel restaurant for their food services. The food is very good and the menu has plenty…

We were a group of 10 from Houston and played there last week. Had a blast! The course is beautiful, scenic with lots of elevation changes and challenging as a result. The staff were very nice and helpful. Highly recommend it. I will be back.

Beautiful and challenging course! Wayne does a great job maintaining the greens. Love the pro shop crew Chris, JD, and Lauren! Always smiling faces! They make you excited to be there and feel like family! Deann will be missed! Happy Retirement!

Visited from out of state, this course is very scenic and challenging. Would not recommend anyone to walk as there are several large hills and elevation drops. Not in the best shape as there are dead spots / dirt in places in the fairways and tee boxes but the greens were in good shape, rolled slow but true. I would play again if back in Austin area

Visited “Crystal Falls Golf ⛳️ Club” and was impressed from first site. A nice driving range with an opportunity to hit from grass or mats. It is also a great choice for working on the short game by playing on the lighted par 3 course. They have 18 holes to play with tee times from morning through evening. The area, landscaping are amazing. The staff is always friendly and accommodating.

Course is in great shape. The crew does a great job of making the course enjoyable. If you are in the fairway, you have a good lie. Beautiful layout and great staff.

This course has great bones and amazing potential! Let me be very frank and honest this course needs about five to $10 million worth of investment. It is sadly overgrown. There is no cure to this course at all. It is not manicured it does not look presentable. Beyond that the greens are in decent shape, although some of them are in very bad shape. Weeds abound! And wow this course is not expensive and a worthwhile play. If you’re just looking for cheap way to get out, it does not compare to really good golf courses and people who really want to play good golf

My friend and I played last week & we were very satisfied with the course and the staff! First time playing Crystal Falls and the rolling hills, fall colored foliage on the trees and the perfect weather was added to an amazing experience. The course can be tough, but I felt it was fair! The views were amazing and overall the course was in good shape. We had a late lunch on the outside decking. The food was good! We will be coming back to play this hidden gem!!!

Started off my experience with the guy at check in blowing me off by looking down as his phone, bad vibes already. The cart path felt like a Mario Kart racing map. Course is poorly maintained. It’s a difficult course but to a point that’s just annoying if you pay off the blues. The carts are annoying, if you got somewhere maybe a little off where you should be it will annoy the hell out of you and the screen will constantly be showing you anything by the course map, hope you like ads. Luckily the round was cheap but probably won’t be retuning because the players there seem to lack any etiquett…
