Very well maintained full 18 hole golf course. Green is quite fast. Course layout is not difficult. Most of the holes, you can see the green and flags.

I can’t say enough good things about Avery. Everything is top notch: -The range is the best around with top tracer and the Mats that tee up the ball for you l, incredible. -the staff in the club house are really easy going and helpful -the course is in amazing shape and the pace of play is so much better than any other public course I’ve played in the Austin area -The GM, Max Turek is just so cool. Could not be more helpful. Any questions or requests he responds right away. They have a customer in me!

Been playing at Avery for 12 years when visiting a buddy. We played today, paid over $300 for our two rounds During the course of 18 holes we were stopped by 5 Marshals to tell us we were 10mins behind. No one behind us. No one in front. Terrible experience which is sad considering how many times we’ve played Won’t be back

Very much enjoyed this golf course. You need to be precise off the tee or trees will affect your approach. Not a very long course but the slope rating is warranted.

I only played it once, with a member, but a great course. Beautiful layout, very nicely maintained and a pleasure to play. Nice golf shop, a practice green that resembled the actual greens, a friendly starter, and great food at the clubhouse. I thought the finishing hole was particularly beautiful. I hope to get a chance to play it again!

I had a very disappointing experience with this course. While the course itself was never exceptional, the customer service used to make up for it. Unfortunately, that has changed significantly under the new management. The current manager, Madison, was unprofessional and had a very poor attitude, which made the situation worse rather than better. The overall lack of experience in leadership is noticeable and has negatively impacted the quality of the operation. Because of this, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this course to others. Management seriously needs to reconsider who the…

The pro shop front desk staff was very rude. Even though I had a tee time reservation, it made me not want to play at all because I felt so uncomfortable. Since the prices have gone up, shouldn’t more attention be given to customer service as well?

I have only played the back nine holes at Avery Ranch golf course twice in the evenings as the summer temps dropped below 100°. The staff in both the pro shop and the cafe are super friendly. It is a beautiful course with lots of shade, a breeze and deer. It is challenging but very fun. I am a high handicapper with a bad back. Update: My 7 year old grandson just finished their Jr. Golf Camp. He loved it. I drove him on the course the last day of the camp when they had them drive, pitch and putt 3 holes. What a privilege to play such a beautiful golf course. The highest praise that I can give…

I wavered between 2 vs 3 stars but think the course deserves this rating until some maintenance work is done to justify the steep rates comparative to the often poor conditions. Peak times often are $120+ and you can expect an average 5 hour pace with no Marshall’s speeding slower groups along. The ground is so hard, especially on the fairways and when combined with the over abundance of rocks, boulders, and bare earth covering the whole course you can expect to have to pick shots cleanly and even then balls will disappear after landing in the fairway after launching in wild directions. The gr…

We hosted my Son's Rehearsal Dinner at the Lakeview event center. Everything was perfect. Food was delicious, venue was amazing. Paige and her staff were so easy to work with and were there to help the entire event. We rehearsed by the lake, had cornhole on the back patio and enjoyed both outside and inside space. We also had a cash bar. She set up tee times for the guys during the day. They had the best time. I highly recommend Avery Ranch Golf Club for your event.

This is a tough and challenging layout. People are complaining about the price but that is what a shortage of golf course in Austin will do. They charge a lot BECAUSE THEY CAN! What I see as offensive is being charged for range balls after paying $144 for the round. $10 bucks for a small bucket?! Rocks in all the sand traps. Pace of play is brutal. But it is a fun course layout.

Way over priced. Terrible course, not maintained, and terrible customer service. The bunkers are waste areas with rocks the size of quarters all over. The lack of water stations on the course is criminal. Especially when it's 90+ outside and not giving water bottles away. The amount of money you pay here is more than top public courses in Houston or Dallas. For example you can play Memorial Park for this cost and Golf Club of Houston for less. The assistant in the pro shop was quite rude on Friday at midday. All I did was go in and pay for my round, but he certainly was not welcoming and deman…
