Very run down. Marker labeling tees, direction missing. Trash everywhere. Fairways, greens, tee boxes hard as a rock. Mostly just dirt, or compacted grass. Carts have torn, ripped seats. Probably worth the $35 to play but will not be back. So many better places to play in Tuscaloosa and surrounding area.

The narrow fairways make this a very challenging course. Beautiful layout. Well maintained course with smooth greens. They even have a practice par3 hole beside the lake. Well kept practice putting greens and driving range. Rusty Stephens (Head Golf Professional) is the main reason why this is one of the best public golf courses in west Alabama.

Genuinely one star is generous save your money this course looks like it was a Vietnam battlefield it is hands down the worst maintained course I’ve ever seen in my life.

Course is in pretty crappy shape, but that is somewhat to be expected due to all the rain we had in May. However, they don’t sell beer which is comical for a golf course. That plus their range is limited to 150. **biggest issue** I hit a person fishing on the 14th hole. Drive up to the green and there are 5 people hanging out fishing right beside the green. Finish hole 18 and on the way back to the clubhouse… guess what?? A dude is laying down on the cart path fixing his fishing rod. Dude didn’t care at all, so we went around him. Lastly… there was freshly cut grass all over the greens. Li…

I am responding to the report of Ron not being friendly. All staff, including Ron, have always been very professional and friendly in my experience. The elements have gotten the best of the course over the past couple of years and wish it was in better shape. Three years ago it was in excellent shape and was by far the best value for an enjoyable round of golf for the value in town. I still enjoy a round out at the Links and hope work continues to maintaining the course as nature tries to destroy it. I will continue to support with booking tee times.

I played there yesterday with my daughter. 1. Got behind 4 kids in 2 carts with one set of clubs .they had the whole course backed up 2. There were two guys walking around the back 9 playing random holes sharing a set of clubs. 3. The greens were in bad shape 4.the sand traps were the worst I've ever seen 5.the fairways were rock hard and many bare spots 6.they charge 40$ for a round 7.there was a strong smell of pot on holes 12-13 Next to the apartments. 8.was very disappointed and will not be back

This golf course is absolutely horrible. Worst I’ve ever played. The entire course is laid out so poorly. You have to drive halfway across the course to get to the next hole on the majority. Horribly maintained. The fairways are hard and the greens are trash. Most tee boxes are dirt. Hole 15 is in between apartments and the fairway is dirt. The sand traps are also horrible. You have to drive through the apartment parking lot to get to different holes. Just an overall bad experience and not worth the price.

Terrible place to live. They had my car towed & their reasoning behind it was ‘flat tires’ — this was untrue & I have pictures to prove it. Also, they’ll find any way to charge you extra fees for the most ridiculous things ON TOP of your already pricey rent. The deposit is $250, I left my apartment cleaner than how I’d found it 3-4 years ago & these idiots charged me for “cleaning” & painting. I have pictures/video to prove that there was absolutely nothing wrong with this apartment. They sent me a $95 check. Management is terrible. She sounds big & bad over the phone but once you’re in her…

Dirty, nasty, trashy, it is not a safe place to live.….no longer has security, no longer a “gated community”, gates stay open 24/7. “If” there is management, it’s poor management 100%. Landscaping is awful. Ant beds every where. Bushes & trees need trimming. Trash all throughout the apartment complex grounds & parking lot & no one cleans it up for weeks/months/ AT ALL!! Poor maintenance inside & outside of apartments. Needed repairs are “patched”…never fixed! Swimming Pool is rarely open. Dumpsters are always full & trash thrown all around them. Smells awful, never cleaned or pressure washed t…

This place is simply awful. The greens are atrocious and are in awful condition. The course is terribly up-kept. Half of the course is usually closed due to flooding and then they try to charge you full price. The old guy at the desk thinks the course is Pebble Beach and won’t let you play without a tee time (even when the course is completely empty). The staff is usually always rude. I wouldn’t waste the time or the money here for by far the worst course in a 60 mile radius.
