In summary

Woodland Forrest Country Club is appreciated for its friendly staff and interesting course layout, featuring hills and changes in elevation that offer a refreshing alternative to flat courses. However, many visitors express significant dissatisfaction with the course's maintenance, citing issues with overgrown fairways and poorly conditioned greens. While some find the course affordable and suitable for families and students, others feel the pricing does not align with the current state of the course.

This is the worst golf course I've ever played. $55 plus tax to play a course that hasn't been mowed in over a month. If that's not bad enough, every green is burnt up and nothing but sand. They claim that the rain has caused them to not be able to mow, but yet every green is burnt up. Literally not even the tee boxes are cut. It's like hitting out of the rough off the tee. Save yourself $60 and don't come here. Looks like on a couple of holes on the back 9 they cut around the tee box, but didn't cut the tee.

Overall it’s a fair to good course. On a scale of poor, fair, good, very good, and excellent it’s a very good layout. There are hills and changes in elevation, a refreshing change from the flat courses in Florida. The driving range is small. The tees, fairways, and greens are fair to good condition. The carts have GPS Cart Screens which is nice.

Great golf course. Was here recently for a tournament and had a great time. Greens were in good shape, fairways nice and low cut. The sand traps were a little below par but we all had a great time. Definitely Recommend this course.

Played 9 holes with a 4:45 pm tee time. The charge for green fees and cart fee was $45. No twilight fee special. For the shape this course is in, this was ridiculous. You can’t tell the difference between the fairway, the rough, and the native area. The greens are full of sand and are not cut to length. Some of the most uneven and slowest greens I’ve ever seen. Your ball will bounce across it, not roll. Unless there are some serious improvements, I will not return. Such a shame because there is no other halfway affordable course in town.

This is the course is where golf dies a slow, agonizing death. To call this a golf course is kind a significant stretch. It’s as though someone took 18 flags and chucked them into various locations of a cow pasture. There are now fairways. You can faintly see where a fairway used to be but the rough and fairways blend into one large overgrown field more suitable for sheep than golfers. I booked a threesome for 18 holes and after we teed off on hole one, it was evident that we were in for a very long round. I hit the middle of the fairway and the ball disappeared never to be seen again. It was…

The fairways haven’t been cut and the greens was all sand. 44 dollars to play during the week. Really isn’t worth more than than 24 dollars to play.

They definitely need someone that knows how to maintain the course. Greens are in terrible condition. Fairway needs work as well. Pool is nice. It needs a good update and cleaning. Grill is an added benefit but way over priced.

It was a beautiful day and we didn’t see another person on the golf course. Unfortunately we found out why, the greens had more sand on them then some sand traps. Would not recommend unless you are a beginner golfer and want a place to go out and get some swings in. The layout could be nice if they get the course in better shape

Rating this course one star is very generous. You’re better off hitting balls around a cornfield. God forbid you hit a ball onto the fairway instead of the many dirt patches in the middle of the course because you’re not finding it.

Very nice layout! The people that work there are very nice. I played a 2.5 hour round so pace of play was great. Fairways were in decent condition but the greens really could use some work. Overall a good place for golf

Absolutely terrible course. Unplayable. Knee high grass through the entire fairway and greens are so bad the whole group didn’t even try and putt. You’d be better off playing in a parking lot.
