Played on May 30th and took 5.5 hrs to play 18 holes. Foursomes stacked every hole waiting to hit. No ranger in sight to move things along. That being said the course was in great shape. Well maintained and fun. Make sure you look at your card to see where the hazards are because you can get yourself into trouble if you aren't paying attention.

Loon - very well designed and mostly flat course. Really enjoyable course with some great scenery. Mountain Lakes - just like the name the front 9 feels like playing in the mountains. Great view but challenging course. Back 9 definitely has a lot water hazard.

It's a good resort - I'd say it's a step below the nicer resorts in Michigan but for the Group Golfer deal we all purchased as group of 8 it was a good value. We played all three courses - Loon, Ridge and Lakes - Lakes was by far our favorite - Ridge was fun too but very very tight fairways and lots of par 3s with forced carries so I would not recommend Ridge course for a newer player, Loon was a more balanced course that everyone in group enjoyed and felt was more playable. The lodging could be updated we stayed in Copenhagen and it's a bit dated, the shower with the weird wood sliding door…

The Loon Resort was absolutely awesome! The golf courses are pristine similar conditions to a private country club. The accommodations were very good (overlooking the 18th hole) and the food was delicious and plentiful. The employees were so nice and always helpful. I will definitely be making a return trip!!

Great deal for a weekend of golf for our annual guys golf trip. The villa's were nice and worked out perfect for our large group. Unfortunately, only one course on site, it's a short drive to the 2 other courses. Would have given 3-stars but...The food included at the restaurant was good, with a good selection. Would have been nice if all the choices on the menu were included but you get a lot with the entrees.

Townhouses could be updated a bit. Beds have no headboards so need a lot of pillows and we only had 2. But everyone was very helpful even though the city experienced a power loss for a few hours. Food is very good in the clubhouse. Love golfing the Lakes, one of my favorite courses, and the Loon.

We played the Ridge Course, which is in great condition but a very interesting layout. Lots of carry and",up and down's". Not really walkable. No water on course.

Played the Lakes course pretty tough for a senior. Played slow had to start on 10 instead of 1 it Played slow all day. The other courses are much nicer at the Loon, and easier to play.

This is a beautiful place with nice coursed and amenities however the staff is their best asset. I was impressed with all of them from the guy changing pin locations to the Pro Shop Manager. Top to bottom. I was treated like someone special be everyone.

We stayed as part of a 3 day package over the May 24 weekend. The staff were excellent and the food was good. The shuttle service to the other courses was prompt. For the bad. The courses were all in terrible shape. All three had nice layouts but the bunkers had not been attended to as grass and weeds were growing out of them. The rough hadn't been cut in weeks. The accommodations need some serious upgrading. The beds were all singles and had to be as old as the buildings. They were the most uncomfortable beds I have ever experienced and they didn't come with any bed sheets. There was a mattre…
