In summary

Gaylord Country Club is widely praised for its well-maintained course, beautiful setting, and friendly staff, offering a challenging yet enjoyable golfing experience at a reasonable price. Many visitors appreciate the immaculate fairways and greens, as well as the accommodating amenities such as on-premise dining and happy hour specials. However, there are isolated reports of dissatisfaction with customer service and concerns about discriminatory behavior, which some visitors found troubling.

Played a great nine holes of golf for 20$. Then made it in for the 4p-6p Happy Hour. Half off drinks and appetizers. Chicken wings with sweet chili sauce were delicious. Parmasan fries were good too.

I would recommend this course to anyone. I had a great time here. The course is not to challenging but does have some tougher holes. Quite open with some bush lines. Made it easy if your ball went off course. Some of the greens were challenging but in great shape. There is no beverage cart but you can purchase drinks inside at the club house and they give them to you in an ice bag. This was great and I preferred this over a beverage cart. Your drinks are there and cold when you want them. Course was in great shape. I’ll be coming back here when I return to Michigan for another golf trip.

Course is in outstanding shape. Fairways and greens are both immaculate. Separately, I had an early tee time and a staff member went above and beyond by meeting me at my car to offer a cart, which was delightful. Props to that young lady.

Upon check in I asked if they offered a senior discount. The answer was/ no you old people have all the money. Later the group ahead of us was 2. 1/2 holes behind. The owner drove up with an angry look . And said your friends are fing up my course. This is how you treat 16 golfers st .$70 each. At that point we stopped buying drinks. And left directly after. Will make sure this course is no longer part of our yearly trip. The course was in nice shape.

Loved this place! It was the 3rd course in a week long golf trip and our entire group had a great time. Extremely playable but also challenging in some spots. Greens run quick and true. We played in a little over 4 hours but it was not a busy day. They have put in a ton of work to fix the tree damage. We were happy to support them and spent some money in the pro shop too. Will absolutely play again.

The Gaylord Country Club is quite a beautiful golf course that doesn’t have as many of the elevations as some of the other area golf courses. What it doesn’t have in course elevation it does make up for in beauty. The Gaylord Country Club also features on premise dining for those who are looking to eat after they tee off. It’s a great place to start to play and find yourself watching the sunsets on the green.

I found the Gaylord Country Club course to be very well maintained and manicured. The staff was attentive and pleasant. So many good memories. If you like a challenging course that has beautiful vistas and architecture, then this is a destination that is rich in both. Plus, GCC has the winning combination of a great staff and great menu.

We had a blast! The course was very nice! I'm real impressed by the green keepers job there! We ate a chicken quesadilla at the turn. The people were nice as well. We had a great day golfing!

Beautiful, well maintained golf course with friendly and helpful staff. We played a very late season round, and nine holes with a cart was only $25 (18 was $48). The greens and tee boxes were in great shape, and the grounds crew had cleared away leaves in many places which was much appreciated!
