In summary

The Oaks Golf Club is frequently praised for its beautifully maintained course, challenging layout, and attentive staff, making it a popular choice for both golf outings and events like weddings and reunions. Guests often highlight the excellent service provided by the staff, particularly during events, and appreciate the quality of food and amenities available. However, some visitors have expressed frustration with pop-up ads on the golf cart GPS and noted that course repairs have impacted playability at times.

My Husband (hehehehe) and I just had our wedding here at the Oaks this past weekend and I cannot say enough how amazing it was. The staff (shoutout Katie) were just the best. The whole process of getting the wedding ready from start to finish was so easy with them. They were very patient and if I wanted something changed, they were ready to do it and with a smile! I think the nicest part was that Katie was there the day of our wedding helping us get down the isle on time, lining everyone up and making sure it all went smooth. That made my life SOOOOO much easier. The ceremony/reception space i…

My husband and I, along with our friend, golfed at The Oaks for the first time in September 2025, and it was such a great experience. The guest service at the pro shop, bar, and bev cart was absolutely on point. At one point I needed a nail file, and the team went above and beyond—searching everywhere and even finding me on the driving range to bring one. It was such a small request, but they treated it with genuine care. The golf course itself was beautifully maintained, and the electric carts were clean, comfortable, and easy to drive. We wrapped up our round with Oktoberfest at The Oaks,…

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Oaks a few weeks ago and truly have nothing but great things to say about the venue and the Oaks staff that helped with our event! Katie and her team had to roll with the crazy, chaotic stormy weather throughout the day and they managed it all with ease. It was a breath of fresh air to have her and her team guiding us and helping ensure the day was beautiful and perfect (despite the crazy storms!) Mid-ceremony we ended up moving everything into the tent and within seconds everything was set up and ready to go for us to start the ceremony again!…

I enjoy the course a lot. A lot of variety, plenty of tee boxes, etc. carts are decent, pace of play was good, etc. The reason for 3 stars - it's absolutely infuriating that the GPS on the carts have a pop-up ad on every single hole, that you have to tap to dismiss. For $100 a round, we should not be forced into more ads on a golf course.

Great Wisconsin golf course. The Oaks is a real gem to play for all levels. Very enjoyable course with some memorable holes. Very easy to make a tee time and staff is friendly and happy to help. Have played in several outings here as well as normal rounds. Highly recommend.

We had the most perfect and beautiful wedding reception at The Oaks. The staff, arbor tent, and grounds truly make a special atmosphere. Melissa, Katie, and Emily were incredible to work with. They are patient, kind, responsive, and did a great job of hyping me and my husband up for our wedding at The Oaks. We also loved the tasting event they did with many of the other wedding couples to give us all a chance to try out their dishes! Our guests were impressed with how open and grand the arbor tent was, how large the dance floor was, and they loved the food catered by The Oaks. We had a large w…

I love it when a plan comes together. My aunt and I serendipitously had this course recommended to us while golfing at our home course in northern Wisconsin, the day before we were headed down south to visit family. The price was right, every interaction friendly (shoutout Brian…both of them), and the course was so much fun. Of course by fun I mean challenging! The Oaks proved to be a wonderful stop to stretch our legs and have some fun before hitting the road again. My aunt also really liked her chicken bacon ranch wrap!

The Oaks is completely repairing their course. Typically a nice place to play. Paying $88 for the shape of this course now is something that should be evaluated when playing this. Seems all 18 holes have multiple spots under repair. Would like to play next year when it’s done.

It doesn’t matter if you’re golfing or sitting on the deck enjoying the amazing food.. this place is absolutely worth it! I recommend the Beef Birria Tacos and a cold beer. Great work everyone! Plus the staff is excellent. Thank you!

As George Costanza might say, "the course was angry that day, my friends". It took my balls away. Left them in places nobody will ever find them. But it's in magical condition and if I ever take a lesson from Bryan Arthur maybe I would be OK. After the round the ladies at the bar "made me feel better" with beverages with spirits to calm my spirit - and then (with a few extra dollars) there was a SALE in the pro shop and I bought one nice shirt and got the 2nd one for half price. "It's a Wonderful Life" at The Oaks Golf Course. Hope to get back there again next season.

Played The Oaks Golf Course last week for a charity outing and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The course itself is beautiful—challenging, unique, and impeccably maintained. Every hole kept us on our toes in the best way. The staff was top-notch. Our crew was never short on drinks thanks to the attentive beverage carts making frequent rounds (huge win). After the round, the clubhouse setup was perfect for the post-golf festivities—inviting, spacious, and ideal for mingling. Great course, great service, and a great time all around. Can’t wait to go back!
