One of the finest courses and golf experiences in my life. The hospitality exceeded five star. The owner, Pam Moore and her late husband, Joel, have poured their hearts, sole and passion into this stunning 300 ac masterpiece. Trevor, Mike and the entire staff are true professionals. The food and beverage service and quality was personalized and delicious. The locker room attendant made us feel like seasoned members. The greens were running 13, the tees and fairways reflected minimal play, the rough was cut to a playable height, and the bunkers had the perfect consistency and quality of sand. I…

There are spectacular courses, and then there is The Ridge at Back Brook. This is the most magnificent design I've ever seen and the conditions are literally perfect. What makes it truly special, is that it is so playable at the same time. It's a very fair track that rewards great shotmaking and penalizes poor strokes. I shot exactly what I deserved, 86, and loved every minute of it. The staff from the pros to the locker room attendants to the bartenders and chefs are world class and took amazing care of me. The members were extremely welcoming as well. It was nice to feel like I was at an ex…

One of the best golf courses that I've ever played. The course was is excellent condition and it was pretty hard, but fair. If you're a Quinnipiac Alumni you can play here without being a member.

A spectacular, and challenging golfing experience. The facilities are immaculate. The greens are fast. And the scenery is beautiful at every hole. Just be forewarned - this is not a walkers course! All the ups and downs would wear you out before you did 9.

I'm still trying to figure out how this place isn't in the Top-100 lists? I've worked and played several Top-100 golf courses and The Ridge is right there with any of them, exceptional. It's basically a turf museum, not a blade of grass out of place, fast, firm, and thick rough. Even the fescue areas were immaculate. We played Bethpage Black 2 days later, given the choice of only one to play the rest of my life? Give me The Ridge.
