In summary

The Ridges at Sand Creek is praised for its challenging course layout, beautiful scenery, and well-maintained greens, offering a good value for golfers. The course features a mix of open and wooded holes, with scenic views along Sand Creek, and amenities such as a clubhouse with dining options. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow pace of play and occasional staff rudeness, which can detract from the overall experience.

I golfed The ridges at Sand Creek on Tuesday, May 12th. I would give it a rating of 4.35 Stars. Overall, the golf course is very challenging. The greens were very fast. Quite a bit of winter kill in some of the fairways. Beautiful driving up and down and around the river. A good challenging golf course at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend The Ridges at Sand Creek.

A great day out with the boys! We were lucky with perfect weather. Hard to book in two groups on the websites (so this needed to be booked under two names - which is silly) A round with cart is $75 USD Great course, it's pretty challenging with plenty of bunkers and water hazards. Groups were posted 9mins apart - and you get prompted regularly to stay on timings

Ridges at Sand Creek is a great track and in excellent shape. 11 of the holes wind through wooded area and feels like you are playing at a northern MN golf resort. Grabbed dinner after the round, nice menu. Had the Buffalo Chicken wrap and my buddy had the bacon cheese burger-very good. Easy drive from the metro. Highly recommend

Heard a lot of great things about this course prior to playing it. Unfortunately that was not my experience. Tee boxes were left extremely long or partially cut on one side but not the other. The greens were beat up with lots of ball marks and recently repaired areas from the grounds crew. The entire course was extremely dry especially after such a relatively wet summer we've had. Balls would land in the fairway and bounce in the air like a bouncy ball. Tough to command $70 on weekdays for these types of conditions. Not a great first experience.

A true hidden gem! This is the best value for golf in the south metro. The back 9 is spectacular winding along sand creek. The greens roll true, the clubhouse is large with a full bar, and the course is very well maintained. The grounds crew did a fantastic job restoring the greens from last summers dry spell. One draw back would be some bunkers are low with sand, and you are hitting off hard compacted dirt, this needs to be addressed. My only complaint would be the staff in the pro shop. The gentleman that checked me in, I believe his name is Dirk, was quite rude and very short with everyone…

A fun course with a lot of character. A few holes on the front and back are pretty open, while the majority are across the street and more wooded. Overall a fun course and very scenic. Driving range and putting green are kept well. The range buckets are pretty small.

Very nice course and well maintained. It can challenge every level of player so pick your tee boxes for as much as you want to bite off. In the fall the colors are spectacular on and around the course. Food is good and Sunday's starting at 9 they have a breakfast buffet set up. Friendly and helpful staff. I enjoy it every time I play it.

Awesome course. Good practice area. Great shape. Unique holes with different layouts that can be played multiple ways. Challenging. It’s a tough walk but super fun. Price was mostly fair last time I was there (current season). Highly recommended.
