Thornhill Country Club

I have been to the restaurant portion of the club a few times over the years. Recently went and felt there was a great improvement in food quality. Turns out they have hired a new chef. I really enjoyed my meal and portion sizes were excellent. Very happy with this change!

Great country club. Knowledgeable professional staff and services. Year round activities include golf (2 courses), tennis, swimming pool, fully equipped gym, a wide variety of exercise classes, curling, skating rink, disc golf, snow shoeing, walking trails…. The restaurant offers casual and fine dining. We joined in 2020 and it is one of the best decisions we made. Members are very nice and make new members feel welcome and included.

Not a single response. I have tried to get a hold of events for a couple weeks. Multiple emails and calls with no response.

Live Music in the patio, good food and nice wine, easily to pass an afternoon here

I like this golf club It is very well kept

Beautiful clubhouse, facility and all around track. This was our second time and they’ve taken good care of us every time. Can’t wait to come back - super easy to get to, right off the 407. See you soon!

Beautiful venue

They have a non sensible rule that they “can’t accommodate more than 8 at a table” so our group had to be split up. But they could put the extra person by them selves right next to the table. They can’t come up with a reason this rule makes any sense, just says it’s a house rule. The servers were judgy and rude. Would not recommend this place especially when you have large groups.

Updated: Visited here again, the food is much better. Seems like they have a new chef. Old review: Food is just average in the restaurants. I only went there for a meeting. I haven't used any of the other facilities.

My favourite place to dine with family & friends, Great Catering and fantastic banquets . Staff is friendly and very accommodating. The chef is creative and the menu has great variety . Rack of lamb is out of this world! Mother's day Easter, Thanksgiving Christmas Dinner Events are a great option for family gathering

If I could give 'never go here ever" review I would. I had a company xmas party this evening. After a few drinks I was told I was cut off. Please keep in mind their was a taxi service and I was not loud nor obnoxious and I was only there for just over 2 hours. The way I was treated by staff at an open bar and buffet dinner was appalling! Pease do not ever go to this venue or book a party. Also it wasn't just me treated this way!

I was a member here for a year. The grounds are very well kept and the facility is a great place to host an event. That being said, the service is a hit or miss. Some of the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful while others are condescending, rude and generally unavailable. The food is mediocre, at best. The club has great "event food" but there are much nicer restaurants at this price range. Most of the people who eat here seem to be regulars and probably haven't tried a different restaurant in the past decade. If you're looking at becoming a member, you'll be paying about $2,800/year…
