In summary

TimberCreek Golf Club is appreciated for its interesting layout, friendly staff, and enjoyable dining experience, particularly at its well-regarded restaurant. However, many visitors have expressed concerns about the course's maintenance, citing issues with greens, fairways, and cart paths. While some have noted improvements under new management, others feel the course's current condition does not justify its pricing.

Had a great time at Timber Creek. The layout is fun and the course has a lot of potential, but the greens and fairways definitely need some work. The carts and cart paths could also use some upgrades. Conditions are a little rough right now, but if they keep improving things, Timber Creek could turn into a really solid course. I’d come back to see how it develops.

Played late March and grass is now beginning to emerge from winter sleep. Greens were a bit bumpy but nicely playable. Pines course was in good shape, fun and interesting. Dogwood nine was not as green and more difficult. Staff was pleasant, helpful and friendly. Good value overall and should be much greener by mid April and beyond.

Loved the course. In decent shape for this time of year. They are working on the cart paths and its improved since the last time I played there. Range is awesome, they give you golf tees and towels. Very kind people.

Great place to play or practice golf, and eat delicious food. Staff is always accommodating . Course is in decent shape. Greens are coming back from Winter. Everything should be great by April. Definitely worth the money once the greens are weed free and smooth again.

TimberCreek Golf Club offers a restaurant with no peer in the area for their selection and quality of food. Patti and Rob Bradley really do a superb job for a very reasonable price and, if you haven't given their restaurant a try, do yourself a favor with a visit. They're open daily from 7 to 7. I have breakfast with them weekly and usually attend their special holiday feasts and I have yet to find a local kitchen that does a better job than theirs. Today's Easter Lunch was amazingly good. TimberCreek, had a selection of breads, salads and many vegetables along with New Orleans seafood gumbo…

I have played Timber Creek for many years prior to 2010. It was always a premier golf course. This is the first time I've been back and to be honest I was shocked at the conditions of the course. Golf carts not working properly, cart paths in serious need of repair, fairways and greens the worst I've ever seen. Was really looking forward to playing this course again and now sorry I did.

$80 to play is a rip off. Greens are awful, had dirt patches all over them. Fairways are ankle high. We had a lawn mower following us through holes trying to cut grass. We had to stop several times and let him finish cutting. Our golf cart died on hole 11 and had to barely limp it in to get a new one. The cart girl was nice tho. I would not recommend this place until this place has a serious make over and some new management that doesn’t allow grass cutting on Saturday mornings.

Not a big review guy, but I have to warn others since I just wasted one of the few days I’m able to golf playing at this course. First, the rate is 65 bucks which is pretty steep around this area even for nicer courses. I knew after the first hole that I should turn around and go home. The greens are that bad. At one point I had a 2 footer that never sniffed the hole. Every putt was anyone’s guess where they were going to go. I would even say the course is being dishonest about the shape it’s in because there’s no way the person in charge can honestly stand by how much they’re charging. So thi…

I want to give a TWO THUMBS up for a WONDERFUL day on the Timber Creek Dogwood. and Pines Course today. Craig the ASSISTANT PRO was amazing and most professional The food was delicious and the waitresses were right on time with food and service. Mike was most helpful with the carts and the Course is BEAUTIFUL and played very well. We will be back for sure. Craig also honored a seven year old Rain check which I thought was. VERY COOL THANK UOU FOR EVERYTHING TEDDY A. AND MATT C

Just played again this week and big improvement over the way it looked 3 months ago. Apparently they have a new owner/manager that is really doing improvements to the club. Fairways and greens were great! Trees all along the fairways have been pruned and all around all the lakes have been cleaned up! I was amazed at how much it had changed in just a few months. It looked more like the old timber creek that I used to play that was always really nice! Golf carts are still old but if the course conditions are any indication of things to come I'm sure it won't be long before those are better too!…

All greens under repair, but we went told, despite paying full price. Tees and fairways in need of repair as well. Traps under raked. When bringing theses issues to the pro shop, we were told we were the only one to complain! Staff was very nice however.

Nice facility out and great driving range. The course, however, needs significant improvements. First, it's overgrown and, secondly, it has super low maintenance standards compared to the modern bar set in the upkeep and decency in golf courses today. It's a little expensive but, other than that, it's a nice addition to the Timbercreek community. By the way, it is open to the public, not just the residents of Timbercreek.
