In summary

Spring Hill College Golf Course is appreciated for its scenic layout, friendly staff, and affordable pricing, making it a fun and therapeutic place to play. However, some visitors have noted issues with course maintenance, such as patchy greens and worn tee boxes, as well as occasional disruptions from college students and slow pace of play. While the course offers a pleasant experience for casual golfers, improvements in upkeep and management could enhance its appeal.

Springhill golf course is over priced at $40 the tee boxes suck greens are very hard and has lots of mini bunkers in them cart paths have fell in like sink hole there is no Marshall and people just drive around on the course playing what ever hole the want to making it a very slow play trash is everywhere I do not recommend this course to anyone they should pay you to play it

I played here in November, 2024. The pros are that is has a driving range, small putting area and 18 hole of decent golf. The course is pretty fun and has a good bit of elevation changes. The greens were in decent shape except around the edges where it was sandy in some spots. Everyone was very nice and I recommend playing the course. The cons are the patchy greens in some spots, the tee boxes were terrible and the routing/signage was poor. The RTJ nearby is much better but I wanted to play somewhere new.

The course and its holes are fun to play, its just need some love. Several greens with dead patches, they also are hard and fast. Bunkers have grass growing in them. Maintenance is expensive and the school prob doesnt get much in funding to keep it high quality, so Im not mad at them. Thats just gives a mediocre experience to what is a decent layout with some great challenges. The elevations and breaks in the greens are fun, just wished they rolled better. Good place to just come and hack around if u dont take ur game too serious.

This is a fun course. We are down on vacation and played here on Tuesday, we liked it so much that we booked a tee time for Friday. The staff is incredible. Everyone we dealt with was pleasant and helpful. The ladies in the grill are fantastic. Sweet and helpful, glad they clued me into the conecuh dog, awesome.

Terrible course conditions. There is something wrong with most of the greens. Fairway, rough, and fridges are so thick and you will lose several balls even if they are playable shots normally. Food is good and staff is friendly but not worth the course conditions.

Honestly if you consider it’s only 40$ for a full 18 hole course and it’s in a nice area. That’s good enough for me, the course was the best around at one time . It’s gotten a little old and not as well kept but overall it’s very fun, club house is super nice . They aren’t overly strict . The only thing that sucked was the golfers, very unfriendly . I was a solo golfer and had to skip holes to get anywhere because even the bad golfers didn’t offer me to play through when I hit 300 yard drives so I had to wait and wait and wait in the middle of the week . Then when I decided to just leave becau…

Have only played there 2 times in the past 2 years and both times get there early and do what I’m supposed to do. tried to get a cart at 8:45 when my tee time was at 9. Starters started harassing me because they had a tournament that day at 12 and didn’t have enough carts to go around. Not my problem shouldn’t book so many tee times of you don’t have enough carts

Used to love coming to the driving range and chipping green. Stopped by a couple weeks ago on a Saturday around 4pm with my girlfriend. Went to get a bucket of balls from the machine but a grumpy old man blocked us with his cart, telling us they just closed (website says 6pm.) He was very rude to us and made us leave. As I was getting ready to pull out of the parking lot, another guy drove in, parked, and got his clubs out. I waited to see the geriatric grouch stop him, but instead he let him get a bucket of balls and head to the driving range we were just so rudely denied use of. Bummer, I re…

The course was great, but I was playing behind a 5some, and my round was nearly 4 1/2 hours long. An 18 hole round without a cart was cheap, $15.00, and the course is high-quality. Beautiful scenery. Great layout. Very green. Good condition, but greens were very slow.
