Azalea City Golf Course

After years of loyalty and hoping for improvements, I've unfortunately decided to play other courses in the area due to persistent issues. The following represents just a few of the problems I've encountered. During one round, my group stopped at the turn for snacks and was aggressively confronted by “members” who accused us of cutting ahead to the back nine. We attempted to explain the situation to them and they became more aggravated and aggressive towards our group. Great golf course! Friendly staff and players. Well manicured fairways and greens. Fairways are wide, greens provide a decent challenge. Family friendly, great place to practice your game or take it serious. Driving range on site looks decent too. I had fun my first time out playing 9 and cant wait to come back and play all 18.

Great day to be a Murphy Panther! In preparation for our 35th class reunion, we all met up at Azalea City Golf Course for souvenir distribution. This location was excellent, for it offered an opportunity for our classmates to get to see what A.C.G. has to offer a great atmosphere, great food in The 19th Hole, and a great staff! We will definitely be coming back soon!

An amazing municipal golf course! The layout is open and ideal if you’re like me and have issues with ball control. The course pro is fantastic and very friendly and professional. All of the club house staff we dealt with were also friendly and welcoming. The green fees were very reasonable and an outstanding value. The course was in excellent condition when we played though the greens had been aerated about week prior, so they’ll be in great shape when I get back out there in a couple weeks. Great course in excellent condition. Greens were actually a bit slower than expected but with hot weather it is understandable that they maybe a bit longer than normal.

My son took lessons from Shirley Walker and she was detailed, nice and patient with him. He enjoys this golf course. Nice place!

This is how you run a municipal course! Course conditions are solid throughout and staff is very friendly. Even with the amount of play this gets the conditions are commendable. It’s not an RTJ or high end country club but that’s not what it’s trying to be. I love playing here and great for all skill levels.

Got to meet Michael Brisbane, great person! The course is in great shape. We were treated with kindness everywhere we went! Group ahead of us let us play through so we played nine in an hour and a half. Green are fun and challenging. Wide fairways, this is a fun course. I will play anytime I am in the Mobile area!

Great course! The greens were in perfect shape. The assistant pro was very nice and I liked the layout as well. Definitely worth the price. Very well maintained, especially for a "city" course. I will play it again.

My grandpa bought me a private lesson 2.5 years ago for my birthday. i called 6 or 7 times to set up the lesson and was told i’d get a call back never recived a call back and today after talking to them they said the lesson has expired and they will not not honor it. Im giving up golf
