This course is just over 2 hours away for me, but ever since playing there for the first time last August, it has become a regular trip for me and my golf buddies. Both courses are beautifully managed from the tees to the greens and are challenging but fun for all skill levels. The Falls course is my favorite.

We played The Crossings. It’s a terrific track, in excellent shape, and we enjoyed playing it EXCEPT for the plethora of maintenance vehicles constantly driving by as we played. It was a lot. It was loud and it was distracting. There was even a huge dredger truck dragging balls out of the creeks. He passed by as I was hitting; could not be bothered to stop. I don’t know if it’s always like this or if it was because it rained for 30 minutes but it was too much.

We played both the Crossings and the Falls courses. We really enjoyed both courses. The crossings has more character. Both courses were in great shape. The restaurant food is very good, especially the breakfast sandwich.

Nothing quite like the Short Course to test your game. Greens were like glass. Beautiful venue as always.

The course is laid out very nicely as each hole is its own and you rarely will have players from other holes hitting on to your fairway as they don’t go back and forth to one another like many public courses. We played in November (winter season rates) and the course and greens were still in pretty good shape. We played both 18s and the par 3 course a few times. All staff were very friendly and welcoming. They food at the 19th hole was fantastic. I’m not sure why the course doesn’t advertise their bar/restaurant or clubhouse online. They have a large wrap around patio overlooking the course…

I am from Myrtle Beach and decided to come down and play a couple RTJ golf courses. The Crossings and Falls were both great. The people are fantastic, specifically Daniel and Robert at the club drop. I play 200 rounds a year in Myrtle Beach at all the courses. These courses are awesome and I had a great time!!!! I was welcomed treated with respect and loved it. Now the courses. Crossings is definitely easier and more wide open. The conditions on both courses are GREAT!!! Easily as nice or nicer than many courses in Myrtle. The Falls is definitely tougher and requires more precise shots, but fa…

I've played several of the Trail courses in the last year. We played the Crossings Course today and found the Staff to be extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating as usual on the Trail. The course does need some work on some of the tee boxes and especially on several of the greens. Just too many bare spots probably from the winter effect on the turf. The Men's and Women's locker rooms could also use some updates. We have been considering joining as Platinum members but, are reluctant because the locker room needs so much work that it's really not worth the added expense. We love the Ro…

We played the Falls course on February 24th. $90 and I was embarrassed by the course. I brought friends from up north to show the RTJ Golf that I brag about. What we got was horrible. I wish we knew the course was under active renovation... while guests were playing. There were heavy tractor marks ruining the fairways and Tee boxes. The fairways were in horrible condition. The only thing good about the course was the bunkers which I avoided all but one. On several holes there were many workers in the way laying sod. The sod that was put down looked like a child did it. Not well done at all. Th…

The course was in a great condition! But seriously, what made this place amazing and different from all other RTJ was the kind and caring customer service from the food staff after the round. Especially shout out to Maddie, who was simply exceptiona! The food was amazing and the customer service was top notch!!! Thank you!

Really nice golf courses. Reasonable price. Played the 2 full size courses. Had bad weather the second day & for some reason become really backed up on 16th hole. Didn’t get to finish. Excellent condition. Greens also very nice shape. Probably not for the beginner but good challenge for the bogey golfer & better. Great staff and cart girls. What I expected from a RTJ course.

Played Crossings. A fun and interesting track. A 4.5 hour round. I won't give a course a five-star rating no matter how nice is if they bang you $8 for a small bucket of practice balls after a $93 green fee.
