Wonderful community, so close to the free-flowing Verde River. Wildlife still up and down the Verde River and on the golf course as well as the backyard.

Scenic round on an impeccable golf course. Two very different courses highlighted by stunning, breathtaking desert and mountain views. Nibbled at the Snack Shack on “house smoked” brisket sandwiches. What a luxury treat. Simply the very best of times.

An amazing place to call home! Beautiful homes, friendly community and all nature can offer. Wildlife, vistas and true desert beauty abound in the adjacent Tonto National Forest and McDowell Regional Park.

I had never had a desire to spend time in Arizona or the desert until I started coming to visit here with my wife. This place is truly special, and the views and the grounds are breathtaking.

Great golf and restaurant! Currently not open to the public due to the pandemic. The views are spectacular SD well.

Only drove by. Used to enjoy golfing there, but is closed to non members the past few years. Always enjoyed the Mesquite Grill there as well, beautiful view. Again, only open to members now.

Visiting a friend that lives there. Beautiful community, very well maintained. Security at gate entrance, needed code to enter.

Visited the green river. Hadn't been there in years. Seems a lot better than when I last went. Nice areas to hike and catch good views. River was cold but fun. Cliff jumping was the best part.

Tonto Verde truly is a place like no other. We've been a resident here since 1998 and have never been happier. While the beauty of the area begins with a magnificent mountain view setting and spectacular golf, the true beauty comes from the people and the amazing sense of community you will feel. I really enjoyed the tonto Verde / Rio Verde area. The golf courses are very nice. Also you have the McDowell Mountain preserve out there Also you got the Verde River It's got a lot of cool stuff especially if you like to go hiking, trail walking, You can also ride dirt bikes and ATVs on the trails out there in some areas very cool area!

Played the Peaks course yesterday Friday July 29th. The Ranch course is closed for bunker renovations. Go play there!! For summer, the course was in great shape. Greens were quick and very consistent but firm so hit short of hole or green and let ball feed. Fairways were moist and soft. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!! Thank you Tonto Verde!!
