In summary

Tony Butler Golf Course is appreciated for its friendly staff, decent pricing, and generally well-maintained fairways and greens, with recent renovations enhancing its appeal. The course offers a good layout that accommodates various skill levels, and its setting is often described as beautiful. However, some visitors have pointed out issues such as poor drainage, confusing signage, and unfinished cart paths, which can detract from the overall experience. Additionally, there are occasional complaints about the need for better organization during tournaments and the inconvenience of cash-only transactions for certain amenities.

***UPDATE*** Well I guess they cleaned up all the debris... the fairways are looking CRISP and greens are smooth and super green. Beautiful!!! It has its highs and lows. Pretty nice course.

Friendly staff plenty of water and hazards. Greens were fast dormant grass this time of year but had a good time with friends.

Even after a multimillion dollar upgrade, the course needs better cart paths and signage. Putting greens are lumpy and interferes with ball path. For the price, there are better options.

Not much grass on greens , cart paths muddy & unfinished , staff doesn’t understand system I stood in line very long. To many better courses in area. Sad because I used to Play a lot until this season.

The course is getting there. The greens need some sun. There still working on the grounds even when your playing. You should arrive at less a half hour before your tee time. Especially if you have a big group.

To be honest, I do not golf. I have the clubs and I have been to one other golf course. But, I have to say that this place was great. My family went to experience what my grandfather loved, after his death and we had so much fun at a beautiful course. 9 holes and well kept grounds. Just be careful when golfers are coming back in the opposite direction.

I came to play a round with a friend here last Saturday, and there just so happened to be a tournament going on that was held for a group of military servicemen. I couldn’t help but notice the pristine condition the course was in. Not that it’s not nice usually, but you could tell extra care had been put into the facility in order to make these soldiers’ experience special. It made me very proud to be a part of this community!

1st through 18th greens are good, not great. Holes 19 through 27 some greens hardly putt-able. Those holes very easy to play any time. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I'm not local so can use all the help I can get. They told me when my best chance to play the front and main course.

Poor drainage, no direction from hole to hole, missing concrete, tee marker just laying on the ground, no signs where to drop off carts. Over all horrible experience

Don't try to play after 5 on Fridays. They give priority to the scramble group even though it's a city course! You expect that from a country club not a CITY course. C'mon mannn!
