Torrey Pines Golf Course

Had a great experience at our golf outing. Staff was fully prepared to handle our large group. Course was in excellent condition and challenging. Carts include GPS and the view of the ocean is prevalent throughout entire course. A definite must play and I look forward to returning in the future.

Played both courses at Torrey Pines Golf Course last Friday and Saturday with three close friends — a true bucket-list experience for me. North Course: The course was in immaculate condition and the ocean views were absolutely incredible. However, our round took 5 hours and 45 minutes, the longest round I’ve ever played. The driving range before the round had a 20–30 minute wait because it was so packed. The on-course staff — cart service, halfway houses, and pro shop — were all friendly and outstanding, but the marshals were ineffective. They drove around but did nothing to help pace of play…

This golf course is right by the ocean, and the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. The facilities are super convenient, and the practice range is great too. I really love this course. The prices are pleasantly surprising — especially for the practice range. I’m not ready to play on the green yet, but I hope that by coming here often and improving my skills, I’ll soon be able to play on the course.

Iconic because the tour plays here. Good value for San Diego residents, but pricey for out of towners. $155 plus $100 fee for reservation. Course is primarily walk so bring your carts. Zero places to sit down on the course while waiting on tees. Walked 6 miles on North course. Rough will swallow balls and difficult to hit out of with narrow fairways. The last few holes on back nine truly the best views, the rest of the course is pretty plane. Super fast undulating greens are a real challenge. Don’t hold approach shots. A check off a bucket list but have enjoyed better.

Bucket list checked off. Pro tip: don't run the La Jolla Half Marathon and then try to play 18 at Torrey Pines That said, this place absolutely lived up to the hype. The views were breathtaking -- ocean cliffs, paragliders floating overhead, and one of the most beautiful settings I've ever golfed in. The course itself was in pristine condition, and every employee we interacted with was courteous and accommodating. Yes, it's expensive, but it's 100% worth the cost for the experience. A truly unforgettable round.

The tee box on #13 I think back behind the tower….unreal. So many good views, so many great holes. Pricing was a really good deal and while you wait to get on try “THE DRUGSTORE” burger.

I mean, what do you expect? The only people not rating this course a 5 is because they probably are frustrated or don't belong there. Views are exceptional, course is well designed, the Reuben sandwich at The Lodge is great. Getting a tee time is hard, but most good courses in SD have that problem. The best part? If you are a San Diego county resident and get the card (but make sure you bring it), it is actually cheap. For tourists it can be a bit much but if you consider what you are getting, still worth it. North is hillier but easier/shorter, South is more flat and easier to walk but not ea…

Played North , really need to book in advance if you are a non resident. The wait list on a friday was long , but we did get on. For perspective we waited for 7 to 8 hours as a twosome. A single would have a better chance , the list opens at 4 30 am and we got there at 5 30 am ... so book 30 to 90 days in advance ..

Came here without a reservation on a Monday around 2pm and I was able to get a tee time at 3pm. The app makes finding a spot as a single very easy. The staff is knowledgeable and nice and will help you get out. It’s expensive for out of state golfers but worth it. The course is pristine and some really great views. The layout is good but nothing crazy. The north wasn’t too hard but had some great views of the ocean. Definitely come if in the area. Good for all levels of golfers.

Marque course and I was glad to get a tee time after a lot of trying. I wasn't able to enjoy the ocean views due to the fog. Pace of play was really slow, also due to fog. Left after 15 holes. Surprised for a course that charges $200 for green fees there are no adequate water fountains.

Great golf course...course conditions - tee to green were in transition as they just over seeded. Greens perfect! Golfing challenge -*****! Views, layout, design and lanscape incomparable!

Super challenging toughest game for baby golfer like me but we had a lot of fun 🤩 We played both south & north course.
