Mission Bay Golf Course

I just wanted to drop a quick review as I played 9 holes yesterday at mission bay. All 28 holes are open, they were starting on Hole 10. I was able to rent a pull cart for $9 as I’d suggest you walk this course unless you really have trouble walking. The Tee Boxes are so close to each other, it is so much easier to walk across the fairway or side of the green to the next box. The Golf Pro staff who check you in were excellent, both at explaining the course to me as I was a first time and in giving me the option to come back if I didn’t feel like playing 18 holes and have The difference in Gree…

I haven’t played golf and sometime and decided to get back into it. I happen to live 8 minutes from mission bay golf course and practice center but have never gone until now and I’m so glad I did. Great staff and super friendly, course looked to be in great conditions although I didn’t play. The practice area is well kept and prices for range balls are good and tons of things you can work on here. Definitely my new go to for my practice sessions.

A fun little municipal course. It’s only a par 59. Lots of par 3s and a few par 4s. The longest hole is just below 300 yards. Still lots of fun to be had. The course itself is quite nice. It’s well taken care of for a county course. The infrastructure around the course is a bit beat up though. But I would rather have a good playing field than perfect cart paths. There was no marshal that I saw. However, there were no pace of place issues during my early morning tee time. The resident rate is sub 40 dollars so that can’t be beat. The practice area is awesome. Some net like awnings for shade would keep people there all day.

Fairly maintained greatly priced public executive golf course with very short par 4s and mostly par 3s. Pretty slow pace of play. Much better of a practice course than a full course but great to hone in your short game. Driving range and tiki bar are great additions as well. Two putting practice greens

The Staff at Mission Bay is doing a great job on making sure that each group is getting out on time! The pace is pretty good! The greens are getting back to being almost perfect again! Good job Maintenance Crew!

This course is decent. Nothing really special but a great time if you and your buddies need to get away for a couple of hours. No dress code which is nice and it is lighted during the summer so you don't have to rush to get in some holes after a work day. It is also cheap enough that if you have have a newbie, it is a great place to introduce them to the game. The course is great to work on your short game as well, but is not in the best conditions. Open late to hit around the driving range and they have lights. I’ll usually go here to work on my game *important note is that the grass area for driving range is open from Wednesday through Saturday. I’ll always hit a large bucket here in about an hour or so and it’s a lot of fun. Looking to play the course soon with some buddies from work.

A very well maintained course for a municipality. Pace of play was pretty slow. Showed up relatively early for our tee time, checked in, got a bucket of balls for the driving range, and barely got into the bucket before we were called to tee off early which was a little annoying but glad they had the availability. Would rather be early than late. Great way to spend a morning when visiting the area - conveniently located!

I’ve been going to Torrey pines the past few years but this time I decided to try this golf course and wow the people are way nicer! It made golfing much more enjoyable for me and my whole group. The people in front and behind us were very kind, nobody felt rushed or was rude to us. The staff were very laid back. We played the first 9 holes and they were all very short. The price is cheap. We’d love to come back here to golf! I’d say it’s a great place for beginners/people who don’t play often since the holes are such short distances.

Decent driving range and it's well lit for the evening, which is nice in winter hours.

The course itself is a good time – a fun layout for its length with a surprisingly solid pace of play. Definitely enjoyed the actual round. Unfortunately, the pro shop staff completely kills the vibe. Everyone working had a bizarrely passive-aggressive attitude, acting like customers were a huge inconvenience. Just zero warmth and genuinely terrible customer service that made the whole check-in process uncomfortable. It's baffling how unwelcoming they are. Good course, but the front-door experience is so bad it makes you think twice about coming back.
