Riverwalk Golf Club

From out of town and had a little time for 18. Staff was super friendly, set me up with rental clubs, and got me right off the first tee for a complete round in just over 3 hours. Greens were in good shape, even with a lot of recent rain.

Played a round here with a buddy and had a really nice time. The course was in pretty solid shape, greens rolled smooth and the fairways looked well kept. Staff at the clubhouse were welcoming and got us checked in fast. Pace of play was decent too, which I always appreciate. It has a few challenging holes but nothing too frustrating, so it was fun for all skill levels. Grabbed a drink after the round and just relaxed for a bit. Prices felt fair for the overall experience. I’d gladly come back and play again.

This is a *great* place to have a private event, or a wedding! I got married there, with a dinner reception afterwards. Most importantly, the folks there make it easy to plan. Erin took care of us, and didn't forget anything. She had a friendly way of explaining the features of the venue, and was concise about offering options like extra microphones, lighting or DJs. This place is great. Nice relaxing place to practice, no judgment. Please are chill and friendly. Everyone's here to get better. My experience with tee times has only been the twilight hours with is also perfect seeing as you can watch the sunset. Also rangechella was fun. Who was the Dj? 😍

I can’t actually formulate the words to describe how horrible I was treated at the front desk. Keep in mind I had played here a week before and was playing with a group of friends for the first time and was actually embarrassed by how I was forced to react. First things first I wasn’t late for my tee and showed the guy at the desk my receipt. He delayed my tee by 40 minutes. Riverwalk hosted our men's club this week and it was a very easy and seamless process from beginning to end. Carts were staged and prepped very well, course markers were provided as requested, rates was great for our guys, and the course was in better condition than expected given the recent flooding and rain. We have been coming here once a year for a few years in a row now and 2026 was the best yet. Very nice to see them headed in the right direction with all the uphill battles. Thanks Riverwalk team!

Definitely NOT worth the absurd price. Riverwalk thinks they're a premier course, and yet they have No Marshall to police an eightsome, yes, an EIGHTsome playing in the afternoon on a Sunday after Christmas! Only being able to finish 15 holes before darkness with a 1pm tee time is disgusting! Additionally, the tee boxes looked like a child's sandbox with some grass growing in random spots. This was the first time back in almost year and I doubt I'll be returning. Complete and total rip off.

My son and I played today. I'd give it a 4/5. Rain a few weeks ago has done some damage in the fairways. But overall we will be back again tomorrow. I don't know why everyone wants something for nothing and complains. The course is really good and very challenging. Why all the complaints? It's winter! Back home they have snow on the ground. Come on man, give me a break!

Played course on March 6, 2024. Not sure why this course does not have 5 stars. Maybe it's cause the Californians are spoiled but this is definitely a great course. From the start they have a great practice area. The only knock is have is the turf mats but from the looks of it, it seems that some days they allow grass hitting which is good. They guys in the pro shop are helpful and welcoming. As for the course, tee boxes in great shape, the fairways have a few dirt spots but if you hit it where you should you don't have to worry about that. Greens are in fantastic shape and roll true. Very disappointing experience, and I have been coming here for months. Riverwalk’s online hours say the range is open until 7:30 PM. I arrived at 5:50 PM and saw several golfers still using the range, yet the doors were locked. A worker inside clearly saw me and ignored me multiple times as I tried to get his attention (knocked and waved). I also called twice to confirm if they had closed early and got no answer. Closing early is understandable, but locking customers out, refusing to answer the phone, and pretending not to see someone standing right in front of you is unacceptable, especially…

Decent golf course in the San Diego metropolitan area. The good: Well maintained course, good food/bar, friendly staff, solid pro shop. The bad: Pricy tee times, low quality driving range, no chipping practice area.

I think it's the most beautiful Muni course in the city center. The green was fast, but the course was fun and the scenery was beautiful. The flaw was that the bathroom door was locked in the middle, but it was a fun game. There were sevaral hazards and island greens, so it needed a challenge, but it was a satisfactory game.
