In summary

Tracy Golf & Country Club is appreciated for its friendly and welcoming staff, challenging course layout, and well-maintained greens. However, some visitors have noted that the fairways and tee boxes could use more attention, with reports of dirt patches and uneven conditions. While the overall atmosphere is positive, the facilities and some aspects of the course maintenance could benefit from updates.

Tracy Golf Club Review I still had an enjoyable experience overall at Tracy Golf Club, but there are definitely some areas that feel outdated. The pro shop and restaurant look old inside and could really benefit from some updates to freshen up the space. The course itself has a mix of updates, but there are also a lot of dirt patches that stand out. The golf cart paths were very uneven and cracked in several areas, which made for some pretty bumpy rides throughout the round. The golf cart itself also felt a bit odd compared to others I’ve used. That said, the highlight of this course is tru…

Tracy Golf and Country Club offers a pleasant round of golf with its well-maintained fairways and scenic surroundings. The layout provides a good balance of challenge and playability, catering to various skill levels. While the greens are generally smooth, a few bunkers could use some attention. The clubhouse is welcoming, and staff are friendly, making it an enjoyable spot for both casual and seasoned golfers. A solid choice for a relaxed day on the course.

The Tracy Golf and Country Club is an interesting item. Some of the engineering and landscape design shows a once very cool country club. There are a few tee boxes secluded by shrubs, a few nice staircases to elevated tees, and water hazards with nice looking brick surroundings. Then, there are areas of the fairways and tee boxes where a lack of maintenance is obvious. It appears that this club once was a very elite location, but for unknown reasons membership fell and maintenance suffered. Overall, the greens were smooth and fast, the bunkers were raked and in good condition. However, the fa…

Great place for golf, perfect for practice and nice atmosphere. Greens are great but fairways are little bit rough. Had a very relaxing and wonderful golf. Very friendly staffs. Hot deal costs $22 with cart, great deal!

Playing golf at Tracy Golf was enjoyable. The course layout and playing pace was good. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The course fairways and tee boxes needs some attention. Many fairways has poor grass conditions after your drives land in the middle of fairways. The greens was in better than average conditions. The driving range is good but needs new mats. We would like to play this course again!

First off im not one to write reviews but... When you pay 80 bucks to play a golf course you expect it to be at a certain caliber. This course is an absolute dirt patch. I don't know what you call the fairways a weed rough dirt mix. Only reason I gave it the 1 star is because the greens were excellent. Take the time and drive to Madera and play the Dragonfly for 55 bucks will not disappoint.

Not sure how this establishment has a 4.2 rating, not even close. My wife and I play all over the place and we were highly disappointed with TGCC. Fairways aren’t maintained(very dry and a lot of dirt, versus grass), and bunkers are like gravel pits. Overall, disappointment, especially @$74 per person! 👎🏻Save your money, a lot of nearby courses at the same rate with way more value!

We went and played a round of golf this afternoon. The course was busy but not crowded. The course is in as good as shape as you could imagine given the drought conditions that are being experienced in Northern California. The clubhouse staff and pro were welcoming, positive, and encouraging. I recommend this location anytime they are open for your golfing and outdoor pleasures.

We stumble upon this course looking for new places around our area to play. The course is in very nice condition, the cost is very reasonable for a course like this. the greens are very challenging and well kept. The staff was very kind and courteous. My wife is new to the game and was pleasantly surprised of what it was like to play on a really nice course instead of our Hack training courses we have been learning on. Highly recommend if you are looking for a nice course and very friendly staff.

The course can be a little challenging for new players, but it quickly becomes a favorite for golfers of all skill levels. Some long par 4s and short par 3s make for an interesting mix of difficulty throughout the course. The course is generally pretty nice and the people are very friendly. The grass can dry out during the hot summer months and can become a little wet and flooded in some areas in the winter months but overall the course is well cared for and in good playing condition. Some fairways have dirt patches in them, but overall the grass is green amd healthy.
