Turnberry Country Club

Great layout. Greens had a ton of slope to them but they run slightly on the slower side. They rolled smooth, definitely enjoyed them. The golf course is super gettable/ scoreable if you’re a single digit handicap or better but the course is super punishing if you’re tee shots are off (Lot of out of bounds stakes and some pretty tight fairways). I definitely think it’s a way better rate than the average 3.9 stars it’s got here on google, especially with the pricing. $77 on Sunday morning with a cart included was absolutely worth it imo

One of the best maintained golf courses I played in recent history. Did not loose a single ball because it went into rough or. Eventhough I played during fall season, no single leaf sitting on fairway or greens. So cleanly maintained Outstanding experience. Playing later in the day and later in the season, I was able to play more leisurely. It was fun and I had personally some of the great shots. I loved playing here. There are plenty of lakes, bunkers and golf course facing houses. As long as you hit it somewhat straight you will enjoy the course.

The course is in pretty good shape overall, but has so much potential to be a top tier course in the area. Some areas to improve are hiring a starter to make sure groups are not constantly backing into each other. Also, the carts are old, have zip tied wires to a tablet gps that doesn’t work great and were also quite dirty. That being said, it’s a fun track and we go back to play still

To start, I was looking to borrow or buy a spike replacement tool but the Pro Shop seemed to be clueless that golf shoes even had replaceable spikes. Beer cart was on point! Slightly over priced but overall the place was in decent shape but an unwelcoming feeling of pressure from staff to move along because we brought the next generation of golfers with (our kids) us! Yes, we were well aware that we were playing slow, but we booked an afternoon round and skipped a hole to stay well ahead of the groups behind us but still got harassed by staff. Played December 15th! That was awesome👍 For this time of year course was in good shape. Spoke with the Pro and the owner. Gave our group a great deal on golf shirts. Bar is nice and staff friendly. Looking forward to returning in the Spring. Layout is good, would expect Tee Boxes to be marked in the Spring. Definitely a challenge for the first time playing the course as can be expected. Pace of play very good. Course should be beautiful come summer.

First time playing here in years. Greens played true, course was maintained well, especially after rain last night. Management was nice as well. The only recommendation would be to label the subsequent holes a little better.

Fun, challenging enough, and Very well-maintained Golf course, with greens in great shape, very friendly staff, and reasonable prices. I recommend it and planning on going back very soon!

Worse course experience with staff and owner having 0 customer service skills. First time attendees. Would not honor online price for late add on who wanted to try the game of golf and wanted to charge the same price for a rider who just tags along to spend time with family and never touches a club. As a first time customer, instead of promoting their business I am telling everyone I know to not waste your time or money here. Putting aside the declining conditions of the course over the last few years, this review is for the appalling communication. We booked a round on Juneteenth, my friend and I would play, our wives would ride. I specifically confirmed with the club house that the wives could ride and would pay a cart fee to do so. No problem. Arriving for our tee time, were told riders were not allowed on a holiday because they don’t have extra carts (as if, somehow, between the time I booked the time and the time we arrived, it dawned on someone that 6/19 was going to be a busy holiday). DO NOT COME HERE. Worst customer service I have ever experienced at golf course or any business for that matter. Worker who was playing behind us wearing a t-shirt confronted our group claiming we drove too close the green. He seemed to be intoxicated and proceeded to call us vulgar and extremely offensive slurs. When we informed the pro shop they just looked at us and didn’t do or say anything… not even a sorry. Most bizarre thing I have ever experienced. Will never be returning and will be telling everyone I know to never play here. Plenty of MUCH BETTER golf courses in the area. This place…

Fabulous public course! Originally private and you can see that from the challenging design. The bunkers are much improved this year as a huge amount of sand has been added. I wish the traps would be groomed before the Friday and Saturday rounds but you will love the course.
