In summary

Union Hills Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens, challenging course layout, and friendly, accommodating staff. The club is noted for its ongoing improvements, including new golf carts and clubhouse upgrades. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the slow pace of play, condition of certain facilities, and occasional management issues. Despite these criticisms, many find the course enjoyable and a good value for the price.

I've played here between the early 2000's until about 2015, then moved out of area. The course has always been in decent shape. But, I would say it looks really good today. Service and friendliness of staff is great, price for 18 holes with cart is very fair. I will be back to play again soon.

Amazing staff and beautiful and challenging course. Good times! I sponsored a hole this weekend in the tournament and everyone there was absolutely amazing and easy to work with. They were very helpful and went out of there way to help us set up.

If you’re looking for a challenging but fair, fairways in great shape, greens putt true, driving range is absolutely one of the best if not the best and the staff will treat you like you’re part of the team, give Union Hills Golf Club a try! From management to the support teams (starters, welcoming staff, snack bar, cart support and grounds keepers) are there to make our day as perfect as possible but leaving the golf score as our responsibility (LOL). We could see by the attitudes of everyone we came in contact with they wanted to be there and was enjoying what their particular responsibility…

Started everyone on 10 today. Then shop lets this group of 4 people/1 cart and 1 bag cut in front on 1. I’m all for growing the game, but respect quicker players when their tee time is 1300 and they’re trying to fight daylight to get the round in. Really not validated for paying golfers

I am new to golf, my grandson and I have been trying different courses. This is by far the nicest! Great people, carts are awesome, the grounds well maintained, and all the staff have great attitudes. Thank you to whom ever recently purchased this club house and have spent time and money. Love this place!!

* played with my brother, didn’t get paired. that’s a plus. * greens and fairways were decently nice, but outside of it, sort of a fixer upper. * staff was very friendly and made the experience enjoyable. * only things that need work in my opinion is the surrounding areas just outside of the fairways and the bunkers.

Greens are soooo nice here. Fun course with much variety of challenges. A little dated but they have new golf carts and the process of updating and upgrading the club house and common areas. Which is necessary and a plus. Friendly staff especially Tammy and Tiffany that serve food and drinks. Appreciate the improvements and keeping the greens nice 👊🏼

Staff was nice. Course was not in good shape. Big holes throughout the fairways. The beverage cart only had beer and water. Really?? The snack shack only had hot dogs and burgers. I am a vegetarian. There was no notification when the cart had gone too far out of bounds. No markers. Nothing. It just locked up and we had to reverse very slowly. They need a white paint line to let a golfer know when they are going too close. The range was beat up. Also, my friends had to rent clubs and it cost $55!!! That is OUTRAGEOUS! Don't think I'll be back.

My parents live next door to this course. They have a constant irrigation leak bordering their property which they never fix.Now they allowed Maricopa county road department to dump hundreds of ton of stone on the property next to my parents house and are loading dump trucks starting at 5 am.Constant wall of dust and dirt along with burning off tar on the equipment. The club owners have no consideration for their elderly neighbors!

I think it's over priced. If you've played any of the Sun City courses, you've seen this layout. Tee boxes could really use some work, driving range as well. As far as the layout, it's tree lined and nice to look at, but pace of play is slow. Plan of 5 hours easily. No marshall on the course at all. Not sure I'll visit again.

Good greens good people fun course! People played fast and really not much wait they had a lot of people playing but they all played fast enough you didn't have to wait long to tee off!
