In summary

Waiehu Golf Course is highly praised for its stunning ocean and mountain views, well-maintained greens, and excellent value, making it a favorite for both locals and visitors. The course layout offers a mix of ocean-side and hillside holes, providing a scenic and challenging experience for golfers of all levels. While the lack of a liquor license and occasional slow pace of play are noted drawbacks, the friendly staff and overall enjoyable atmosphere contribute to a positive golfing experience.

The value was excellent. The course was in great condition. Pace of play fair, took 4 1/2 house hours. Always try to play a couple of times whrn on Maui. It was a windy day.

Fantastic ocean course, even with the windy conditions experienced yesterday. Breathtaking views. Rental clubs in very good condition. Highly recommend!

Course right by the ocean, very nice views and calm energy here. If you like to have an alcoholic beverage while you golf this may not the place for you, they dont have a liquor lisence so they dont sell any booze(downside for me but I will still come back because it was a pretty good intermediate course)

Don't even THINK about not being there 30 minutes before your T time. If you walk, the back nine will test your legs. The restaurant is little more than tables and chairs. It's not like Wailea, but it's no goat trail either.

A very fun and challenging course at the same time. Definitely recommend for anyone to golf it. Very beautiful scenery and a very helpful staff. The prices are very reasonable for golf. I’ll definitely be playing again. The ocean views are very beautiful and then you also get a mountain side of the course also. Lots of wildlife from cats to birds to chickens it all has something for everyone.

Good value for money, especially twilight rates. We go annually and the course seems to get better every year.. make sure you return your power cart by 6:30 pm or somebody will come and track you down!

Played about as poorly as I do anywhere else, but this time I was surrounded by beautiful views the entire time! Really had a great experience, staff is all very friendly and the booking process was easy. Thank you Waiehu for making my dream of playing golf on Maui come true!

Beautiful course, affordable. The front 9 is closer to the ocean, including a couple that if you slice, you're donating a ball to the ocean. The back 9 is on the hill. There's a nice variety of elevation changes, and beautiful views all around.

One of the best courses we played on Maui. Great value for the price. Greens were immaculate. Pro shop dude still insists on wearing Covid masks. He was the only weird thing about the day. Can’t wait to go back.

Nice wide shorter course, great for beginners. There are lots of hills and trails, which makes it more challenging and more fun! The views are beautiful, you can see blue ocean views, can also see green Mountain Views. We had a great time playing golf here, and really enjoyed the stunning views from both sides of the big land. Course is clean and easy to navigate. We saw some cute birds walking around, they are very friendly, don’t get in your way at all.

This is a must play course. Don’t let the word Muni fool you…. This course is in fantastic condition and rivals every course on in Maui. I arrived to the airport way too early and found out there is no Delta Sky club to hang out in before our flight out. A little googling and I found this course 18 minutes away. The staff were very kind and I was able to play 9 holes with a cart. The carts are new, club house had many items to choose from and is managed by a third party. I paid for my round then had to pay separately for the cart and a ball for my collection. The first tee greats you with a w…

This course is more than just fairways and greens—it’s where I grew up golfing alongside my dad and siblings, and now I’m back here 3–5 times a week. Walking the course in the afternoon is my favorite; the breeze cools things down, and the views along the shoreline remind you why Maui is home. The kamaʻāina rate is unbeatable, and the value you get across all 18 holes is second to none. The maintenance crew deserves huge credit—the greens here could easily rival those on the West Side courses. The starters keep play moving smoothly, and the **Pro Shop team—Uncle Art Rego and Sister Brenda—**a…
