In summary

Warrenton Golf Club is praised for its friendly and welcoming staff, reasonable pricing, and enjoyable atmosphere, making it a popular choice for both locals and visitors. The course, a 9-hole layout with small greens and tree-lined fairways, offers a challenging experience that many find rewarding for improving their skills. However, some visitors note that the course condition could use improvement, particularly the greens and fairways, and the layout can be confusing for those unfamiliar with it. The club also features amenities like a swimming pool and a charming clubhouse, adding to its appeal as a community gathering spot.

This is the place to golf in the area. The carts are great, the pro shop ladies are super nice and welcoming. We played four times this week with a foursome and had a blast.

Nice little hideaway that's very affordable. The staff is very friendly. The greens could use a little TLC but all in all it was a good experience. Greens just need work

Just played there again 3 days ago. This is a deceptively tough little course. I say little because it's not long but tree-lined fairways, well-bunkered and SMALL greens take their toll! I wish they had up-to-date course and slope ratings. The course is in good condition except for maybe two greens . . . and they aren't terrible. And the sand traps needed some raking (plenty of sand in the traps though!). The staff are really friendly and helpful too!

This course is 9 holes. To play 18, you play the white tees as the front 9 and then the blue tees as the back 9. Gets a little confusing on some holes. Refer to the scorecard for the diagram. Course is in rough (bad) shape. Most fairways have large bare spots (i.e. mud) and the greens are a mess. A couple greens are almost un-puttable. That means if you play 18, the number doubles. The greens are also tiny, so yes, you have to be accurate. The price is $22 (per person for 18), but not worth playing again.

Not crowded and water was very pleasant, not too cold. Seemed to be a lot of bugs and this type of pool water debris floating on the surface than should have been. Maybe filter wasn't running at this particular time. Very nice visit though

My parents have been members since I was 4. I'm now over 40! This is a great small town country club. This is the place where the men gather on a Friday night to tell stories (lies) and maybe have a drink or two in the beautiful hardwood paneled clubhouse. This is where the kids come during the summer to play Fox-on-the-wall or Marco-Polo in the pool. This is where they have Ladies Luncheon every few weeks just to catch up on the latest stories (gossip). This is where the retired folk come every morning to play a few holes for exercise. This is where they have oyster roasts and cookouts for fa…

A great hidden gem with very small greens that will do nothing but improve your chipping and putting skills. Staff was great and reasonable pricing. If I lived in the area, I would play it daily!

Great challenging 9 hole course that offers different tees for second nine. If you can hit these greens, you will score well!
