Poor Communication and Disappointing Experience I come to Iowa once a year for a family camping trip, and we always look forward to golfing together. This year, I scheduled 18 holes for six players a month in advance and even called again four days prior to confirm. On the morning of check-in, I was suddenly informed that all carts had to be returned by 1:30 pm because a bachelor party had rented out the course. That left us less than three hours to try and squeeze in 18 holes—a huge letdown. Management claimed they needed every cart, but when we looped back around at 1:00 pm, it was clear th…

I will never come here again! Course is in great shape, nice clubhouse, but $40 for 9 holes is not worth the course. On top of it we had trouble on the course. We were here for a small bachelor get together and we had several people not show up we had 3 booked tee times spread out for 30 minutes we only had 6 people so we decided to play a scramble with 3 man teams and tee off at the same time so we were all together knowing we had the time to spare. By the 2nd hole there was a 2 man group that was on the 2nd hole tee box when we were on the green. So the starter obviously let them tee off as…

We love being members at WG&CC! We have a family membership. When we are able to get out and golf at least a few times a month, it is well worth the reasonable cost! We can’t wait for our kids to grow up playing this course!

I hadn't been out there in awhile-they have done some great additions to the outside area where they made it handicap accessible, and that makes it easier to all of us and a nice area to sit down and socialize, looks great!!
