In summary

Pleasant Valley Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained grounds, challenging layout, and beautiful scenery, enhanced by floral and decorative grasses. Many appreciate the friendly and accommodating staff, as well as the course's variety of holes and hazards that cater to different skill levels. However, some visitors have noted issues with customer service, particularly concerning staff demeanor and refund policies during inclement weather, as well as occasional maintenance inconsistencies like slow greens and sparse sand in bunkers.

Great track, played for the first time with employee Kevin and had a great experience. Fairways manicured, greens fast and smooth. Formerly owned by a greenhouse so lots of floral and decorative grasses making it fun for the eye.

Course is in great shape as of May 10th, 2019 thoroughly enjoyed one of the few perfectly warm weather days this year yesterday! Wonderful course with some surprisingly fun golf holes & certainly no walk in the park!

This is a very fun course that offers a challenge to golfers of all skill levels. It has some of the most forgiving greens in the area. It isn’t very well maintained some of the time and the “pleasant” smell can start to wear on you through 18. The staff are also not very friendly-on one experience we were charged for a full price round of golf when we arrived during twilight hours. Thankfully I noticed and had them change the bill. Despite the negatives it is a beautiful course with plenty to offer and definitely worth playing if you are a local resident!

A very nice course! Staff was great helping us reschedule due to rain. Course was challenging and fun! Looking forward to playing it again.

Course is in great shape. People need to utilize the divot replacing sand on the cart more, but thats typical on a Muni. Recent rain has made greens soft, so back up a bit more but still roll true and faster than expected. A great time to get out and play PV.

My 1st visit. Well maintained course. The trees, sand and water force you to stay disciplined. Keep the ball in play and you will be fine. Loved the covered parking option. Definitely would go back.

Pleasant Valley GC is great value; low rates and excellent condition. The greens are perfect; fast and smooth. And having their own nursery means they know how to care for all the plants and flowers, so it really looks great. Watch out for stray shots, since there is water on several holes. Sometimes it is a creek running along side, other times a blind creek running across at just the right distance to catch a drive.

Interesting course. Lots of variety. Undulating greens. Only downside is erratic traps.

Not much sand in most bunkers, mostly crabgrass. Greens are slow. Overall, it's a fun course, though.

Really fun course, and immaculately maintained. Andy is a great conversationalist out on the course and even provided some helpful tips. Even the owner gets out and gets dirty keeping this place in tip top shape. I love the variety of hazards, blind shots, and challenging greens. Be sure to grab a scotcheroo from the clubhouse, they’re incredible. Humble paradise and my favorite course experience in Johnson County.
