Finkbine Golf Course

10/10 I’m thrilled that I got to play the course before it closes for construction this fall🔥 I can’t wait for the remodeled course to open in 2027!

Only been to this course once, but fairways are soft and receptive. The greens were challenging with pin placement and elevation changes. I would highly recommend this course. Great carts with GPS as well.

A first rate university course on a beautiful tract of land a couple of miles west of Kinnick Stadium. A new clubhouse enhances the ambiance. Highly recommended.

This golf course challenges you from the first tee shot to the last putt. Everything from the clubhouse to the course in amazing, so cannot wait to see what the course will look like in 2027 after the renovation

Best driving range in town. The course is fun and challenging and the greens are well maintained. Pretty soggy after a rain and not much shade on the course but a very interesting layout that can be enjoyed by golfers of all skill levels.

I’d classify it as “tough but fair.” Pretty wide open and score able, though greens were tough (firm and fast) but in great shape. Glad I got to play it before the big renovation and complete course change. Friendly staff in the golf shop and restaurant made for a pleasant day on an Iowa home game weekend.

4.5 stars. Beautiful, well-kept course with fast greens that will challenge you. Finkbine has great golf lessons for anyone new to the sport.

A must play if you are near Iowa City. Conditions were fantastic for early Spring

Good course and interesting layout! We played about 2 weeks ago and the only complaint my group had was that the beverage cart girls would automatically tip themselves 20% on the iPad tip screen before flipping it back to us, which is not right. We watched her do this both times we ordered from the bev cart. It should be the customer that selects the tip amount, not staff. I hope this can be corrected with your staff.

Absolutely phenomenal course. Fairways were like greens at other courses. The attention to detail in all areas is apparent. I've been playing for 43 years and this course is top 2 for me right behind Bay Hill. Everything was top notch. Booking tee time, clubhouse, starter, snacks at the turn..... Everything. Thank you for an exceptional Saturday.
