Saddleback is always a great time. Course was in great shape as always. Pace of play was steady. Plenty of good food and drink options at the clubhouse with complimentary cold water bottles at multiple stops on course

Great golf course. Pretty open with not many trees in play. A lot of holes are side by side so if you aren't as accurate off the tee like myself, you can still usually find your ball no problem. Course is fun to play with a lot of elevation changes and variety and we enjoy getting out here for a round a few times each summer. They are starting to build houses along the course, and the homeowners sometimes fail to acknowledge that the golf course was there first and they didn't freaking choose to build a house next to one and will get an attitude with you. They are easily ignored and tell them…

Fun, wide open course. Forgiving fairways. Soft greens and putt at a decent pace. Usually had a good pace of play.

I called (Thursday) to make a tee time and to make sure I could use the Give Foundation benefit for Veterans. I was told by staff I was good to go as long as it wasn't a weekend. Here I am and its Friday. I go to check in today and the staff said I cant use the give foundation and they wouldn't make a one time exception because it was only M-Thur. I let the staff know I was told differently last night or I wouldnt have made a 2 hour one way trip. That is the staffs fault for giving me misinformation. This course is definitely not worth $65 rack rate.
