Nice course. Some construction going on this year. The layout is still fun. The locals here aren't nearly as friendly as most courses we visit. A couple 4-somes wouldn't let a couple playing best shot play through.

Beautiful course that’s always well kept. The owner Mark is a super nice guy and the staff has always been most hospitable. It’s a great course for beginners and intermediate players. The greens are usually very fast and despite many driver wedge par 4’s, you can actually end up with a wide variety of shots and looks (especially if you are a hack, like myself). The par 3’s are excellent. the scenery is excellent. The rates are very reasonable, and they offer some great deals throughout the week. I couldn’t recommend this course enough. This is a place that is worth your money, and deserves the…

Nice course. Small elevated greens. Club house needs work. The girl who helped us was great.

Very nice, challenging Iowa 9 holer. The course finishes up with 2 par 3s which is very unique. We chatted with the owner for quite a while and he was extremely friendly. Overall, we had a great time.

Nice little city course with some character to it that will keep you guessing. Challenging course but maybe for the wrong reasons. Overall course conditions were very inconsistent. Some areas have been kept in great shape but others are very dry, dead & like concrete. Every tee shot was a guessing game because you never knew where you ball was going to end up because of the weird kick was going to get. Greens are very challenging but fun! Overall, nice course at a great price

They closed the golf course to have our annual Heritage Days kick-off fun evening. Ending with fireworks with you sitting on the greens.

Mark drinks on the job. Walked in to him cracking open a beer and could tell it was not his first. I also got inside information that he does this a lot. Was completely disrespectful and kicked us off before teeing off the first hole because it was “too late” after we paid and had gotten our cart keys AND after my friend had already hit his first shot. Completely unprofessional. Not to mention he wasted 20 minutes we could’ve been golfing finding any reason to complain. Then proceeds to go through my bag without asking, opening every pocket. I feel bad for the people that have to work with thi…

Like many others like it, Kernoustie is short and tricky. The expert golfer will either have half wedges into most par 4-5 holes or elect to leave the driver in the bag to make things more interesting. What makes this place unique is that it has a few truly great holes sprinkled in. After a hum-drum opening, hole 4 is an interesting par 5 which plays over some cool landforms. However, hole 6 is a real standout. It's a short par 4 with a pinched fairway bordered by a natural creek left and hill to the right. A bold drive is required to be able to see the green with your second. Wish more holes…

Great 9-hole course. For $16 cash on Monday you can play 18 holes with a cart. The holes we're just about right for a beginner like me and there was a lot of different variations on the holes which made it challenging and fun.

Great little nine holer. Good elevation changes, grass is in great shape, challenging. Not much for hazards but still a fun course.

Awesome little 9 hole course with some challenging greens. Lots of trees, 10/10 would recommend!
