In summary

Wapsipinicon Country Club is praised for its beautiful setting within Wapsipinicon State Park, offering a unique and well-maintained 9-hole course with historical charm. Visitors appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the quality food and drink options available. However, some guests find the course layout confusing due to crisscrossing fairways and shared spaces, which can lead to navigation challenges and potential safety concerns.

I have not golfed here yet but driving past and being in the park the location is just beautiful and the areas I drove past were very well kept and the cart path was nice as well!

Nice course, they fit 9 holes into a 6 hole course (size wise). Beautiful scenery, challenging and confusing initially. Esthetics were great, bur would be stressful if busy on who has right of way because of the shared fairways.

If you love golf you will love every excruciating inch of this beautiful 100yr old 9hole course. Rustic historical clubhouse, great food, practice green. Steeped with hills and history, nestled into a dolomite valley and landlocked by the beautiful Wapsipinicon State Park, trees older than your grandfather directly obscuring your desired ballflight, holes nearly 100ft elevation change, small turtleback esque greens and unexpected hazards will ensure that every holed ball is a relief of redemption and convince you that every tee box is a window filled with 100yrs of miracles and heartbreak. I had a best friend who had their celebration of life gathering at the wapsipinicon Country Club in 2021. It was my first time visiting here, and it was very beautiful. It was really easy to find, lots of room for a big gathering. The scenery was beautiful too. I would love to come back to visit again.

Staff working there are an absolute delight. Everyone we ran into playing the course wS very helpful and friendly. Even played with 2 locals that were playing. It's a very unique course. My one and only complaint is the fairways on several holes are literally running parallel to each other and one hole literally crosses a tee box where I was almost hit by a golf ball. Very small downside but thought it should be noted. Still a fun course. Will for sure play again in the future.

A good semi private county club. Great food. Open to the public Mondays and Thursdays for pizza. Tuesdays for gourmet burgers. Friday night full menu, Steaks, chops sea food. Sunday morning for breakfast.

A friend and I (who was a member - not anymore) went to a $25 steak dinner. We had every reason to think it was a buffet (the high cost and the fact that everything was laid out self-serve style.) Long story short, we got charged an extra $50 when my friend went up to pay. He was not happy and he is understandably going to let his social membership expire. So bottom line is that by being sticklers and charging this guy extra, Wapsi Club missed out on hundreds if not thousands of dollars in future dues from this guy. I know him well and he would have been a member for life had this not occurred…

Love this place! Nostalgic and fun atmosphere! Not a lot of these places around to enjoy anymore! A must see and experience! The golf is fun too, but bring a lot of balls!

Nice course in a state park. Classic old school course with criss cross fairways. A fun time on a unique course.
