In summary

Meadowview Country Club is appreciated for its friendly staff, reasonable rates, and enjoyable 9-hole layout that offers a variety of challenges including water hazards and sand traps. Visitors often highlight the welcoming small-town atmosphere and the course's suitability for casual outings. However, some criticisms include issues with course maintenance, slow play due to lack of tee times, and occasional negative interactions with management.

A nice golf course in central city. Today they had the tri County boys championship there so the greens where freshly cut meaning they where fast. A little bit of water on a couple of holes. A sand trap on hole 9 a few trees otherwise around the course otherwise wide open fairways.

I was golfing here the other night. There was a group of people (probably 8-10 of them) that showed up for their "birthday party"... They were immediately disrespectful to the nice girl working behind the counter. The group proceeded to the first tee where they did not follow the rules, (4 people to a group) because they thought it would be faster for them to all play together. They were split up after the first hole by the owner. They proceeded to not follow golf etiquette... The owner did a great job settling the issue. I will definitely be back.

My experience at Meadowview Golf Course in Central City was utterly deplorable. Our group was unjustly harassed by the owner, Doug, who was visibly drunk while berating us for supposedly breaking rules—rules we followed to the letter. His unprofessional, aggressive behavior was embarrassing and ruined our outing. The course is average at best, but Doug’s drunken tirade ensures we’ll never return. Avoid this place.

This golf course is an absolute disaster. The owner verbally attacked us, calling us "outsiders" and implying we were worth less than their members. He even resorted to profanity. To top it off, there's no organization — no tee times, just chaos. Avoid this place unless you enjoy disrespect and disarray.

Good place to get a last minute golf itch scratch as there’s no set tee times. Could use a little TLC but that’s just mainly picking up garbage from the day before. Didn’t care too much for the crabgrass tee boxes but beggars can’t be choosers. A decent place to play.

Used to be the cheap course where you would go to play a round with friends just for fun. They have raised the prices to the same for 18 w/ cart as all of the Cedar Rapids courses but forgot to better the course with the price increase. Save gas and play in town!

Thus is GREAT for what it is. It is only a 9 hole course, but WOW, what a course. It's got two par 5's and two par 3's. The rest are par 4's. There are a few sand traps. Water hazards. Trees. Elevation changes. And a few very wide, open fairways. It's got a little bit of everything crammed into a 9 hole course. The staff is small town friendly. Today was my first trip to this course, and I felt like a regular. The price for 9 holes is great. The only thing that prevented me from giving it 5 stars is the cart rental price. Cart rental is the same as a round of golf. If that was a few dollars…

Fairly long nine hole course. Well maintained. Unbeatable price of $45 for two plus cart. Walk up with no reservations. The last minute golfer's perfect course!

This is a 9 hole golf course in a rural area. The course doesn't compare well with some other 9 hole courses I've been to. It's SAD to see. This course is NOT maintained with pride, that's painfully evident. There is so much white clover on, (SOME), fairways,---the eye has difficult time to pick out the golf ball. There are 4-5 trees on this course, who's leafs are totally riddled with insect holes, drained of chlorophyll, drab color very noticeable from across the course. Dead trees, numerous on course, terrible testimony of a poorly maintained golf course. No T-boxes at tees/no flowers at th…

Fun, 9-hole golf course. Not super compact like some other 9-holes we've played on. Some of the better golf carts we've driven. I'm sure we'll be back!

Fun Course but they should consider tee times. Seems like a lot of locals have season passes and play is really slow.
