In summary

Waumbek Golf Club is highly praised for its stunning views of the Presidential Range, welcoming staff, and recent improvements under new ownership, including a revamped clubhouse and course enhancements. The course layout offers a challenging yet enjoyable experience, particularly with its fast greens and strategic fescue placement. Gorgeous course. Beautiful views. Deer flies a little thick but not the courses fault. Worth golfing and make sure you have lunch at Fenn’s Way after!! ♥️

The course is unforgiving in a nice challenging way. The views are beyond any other views you'll get golfing in the area. There is also no better way to finish a round then sit on the deck and enjoy a meal while watching people struggle on hole 18.

Great experience at opening day 2024. New ownership has put a lot of effort into improving this historic golf course. The views of the Presidential Range are unmatched. The new clubhouse is well really executed. We were concerned about the length of the course (it is on the short side), but the challenge comes with getting your approach shots to stay on the green and trying to hole out. The course really exposes any short comings in that part of your game. Finishing touches are ongoing, so I expect the experience will only get better with time. Do not put weight into any reviews before this…

Great customer service, everyone is so friendly and working to ensure you have the best experience. The course is in great shape and you get beautiful views. Add in a top notch restaurant for lunch after your round; good food with good service!!

Nice to see the course revitalized as it has some of the best views of any course in New England. New electric carts and a new club house to go along with the course Reno. I think there is probably still some minor progress to be made with conditions in a few places, but miles better than years past. The course plays a bit on the shorter side at only 6,000 from the tips and with many downhill holes or otherwise short par 4s. Offsetting the length, there is 2-3 foot tall fescue along almost all holes so shot placement is at more of a premium than hitting a bomb, as you will not track down a bal…

A peak foliage weekend in NH is amazing in itself. To experience one at the Waumbek is next level. The Waumbek is situated in one of the most lovely areas of Jefferson NH. Yes, the views on the golf course and in the restaurant are insane but the experience goes far beyond the scenery. Upon our first lunch at the Waumbek , my family and I were greeted with the most amazing service, a lovely woman named Lisa. She truly made us feel right at home. Her assertiveness and warm demeanor welcomed us into this gorgeous new establishment. Food was delish!!! We had an upcoming event and it honestly it w…

Had the opportunity to play Waumbek Golf Club with my brother and nephew and was pleasantly surprised! Got there a little early and was thoroughly impressed with the clubhouse and overall amenities, perfectly positioned for stunning views of the White Mountain Range. The people were New England friendly and the overall atmosphere was incredibly welcoming. Waumbek has a great layout and at 6011 yards from the blues and 5605 from the whites it is very playable for mid to high handicaps. The NorthEast has been in a virtual drought since the Fourth of July and the burn on the fairways reflects tha…
