In summary

Androscoggin Valley Country Club is praised for its beautiful mountain views, friendly staff, and well-maintained course layout, which many find enjoyable and moderately challenging. While the course is generally well-kept despite wet conditions, some visitors have noted issues with the greens being inconsistent and the need for better course signage. Additionally, there are mixed reviews regarding customer service, with some experiencing less accommodating interactions.

Spectacular views, a nice layout, and friendly staff. The greens are painfully slow, but it has been a wet year from what I understand. The grass could also be thicker, but all things considered this is quite a nice course to play. Pay attention to the wind, a good number of the tee shots have wind in play if it’s blowing at all.

Great course, but terrible service, they are very entitled and won’t honor any agreement you make with them. Don’t bother calling ahead as they won’t follow through with anything. If you think you can get away from all the entitled a holes then this ain’t the place. Even if you move quick they will rush you along. NOT RECOMMENDED

Excellent day on the course. Considering a wet weather year, the course has been attended to as well as it could be. The greens are hit and miss because of this. However I would say it us a enjoyable experience and the staff and ground crew very friendly and welcoming. New carts. The schedule a little over booked caused some delay however the views are breathtaking as well as a deer fawn joined us in hole 14. .. I recommend. Go before 1 and pay more. Next time I'll play afternoon for 35$. Don't miss this course. Great times

I love this place. Nice people, good course, great views, fairly priced beers, etc. Not stuffy at all. My type of place.

While camping up that way we stopped in for 9 with 2 adults 3 kids, who've never played a real course. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the greens amd fairways are kept up nice, even with the soaking rains all week the course looked great. Not the toughest course but its definitely one worth playing, not to mention the mountain views all around are spectacular. Wish it hadn't rained as much so we could have played more during the week.

Love this course, my go to course. Start out talking to Larry, which is one of the most personable guy's you will ever meet. Larry represents everything that is good in golf. First hole par 5 and you will earn every inch. Tee boxes are fair, little uneven but very manageable, fairways are good and challenging, they make you play smart golf. The greens aren't the smoothest but they stay true, and the good thing is if you land on them the ball stays on them. I have shot a 79 to a 93 on this course it all depends on how the person is feeling who sets the flags, if he's happy you'll do very well,…

My husband arranged for a round of golf for the two of us at noon on a beautiful Sunday. We arrived about an hour early and went into the clubhouse. We were greeted quite abruptly by an older gentleman telling us we were very early. We asked if we could possibly get something to eat. "No." was his answer. After getting a sandwich down the street, we started our round. The course is atrocious and greens are unruly. Charging thier price for this service is uncalled for.

Fluctuating rates are outrageous for the courses quality. All other area courses are more enjoyable

This is one of the better courses i have played. I normaly play northern ma, southern n.h and this course stands right next to them. The fairways were nicely cut and the greens were very clean. I didnt eat there so i cant speak for the food. The only issues i found were that the fairways are not marked as i was playing hole 14 and ended up playing in the direction of green 11. Also the hole location signs with directions could be better set-up for people that do not know the course. Other than hole directions and fairway markers there is nothing wrong with this course. I only lost 2-3 balls (1…
