In summary

West Seattle Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained conditions, scenic views of downtown Seattle, and diverse, challenging layout that appeals to both walkers and cart users. The staff is generally regarded as friendly and helpful, contributing to a positive experience for many visitors. However, some guests have reported issues with customer service, particularly regarding cart management, and note the absence of a driving range and beverage cart as areas for improvement.

One of my favorite public courses in Seattle. The staff are welcoming, the food is tasty (I always get the tots at the 9th) and the course is in good condition. The city views on some of the holes are fantastic. I had a cart break down during one round but the team at the pro shop quickly came to the rescue so no issues there. It can be hard to find a tee time on short notice (they’re popular) so book in advance if you’re looking to play a round over the weekend.

I can’t say enough good things about this course. I’ll start with condition - the course has been in fantastic condition all summer. Every time I get paired with people it’s always a comment from everyone every single round “hey this place is well maintained and looks great”. I agree! The staff is super nice and very helpful. The course is a really fun challenge, not a super easy flat course, you really have to think and take care throughout the course which makes it so fun. It’s a great course to walk, despite plenty of hills. I keep going back because it’s hands down the best public course i…

I got an early bird’s deal price for 18 holes (power cart included) just $60! The course has pretty good fairways & green maintained in very good conditions! Some of the tee boxes & cart path still need to be reconstructed (just my own opinion)! I vote for 4.5 stars! I will definitely come back again.

Loved playing the first time at the course. Conditions were wet as they are in the winter, particularly 1 and 9. Other than that, very forgiving course that can be made harder by playing the tips.

A good walk unspoiled, but carts available. Best conditions in 20 years.

West Seattle Golf Course is easy to get to. If you put it in your GPS it will get you there no problem. It’s got a lot of parking and there are grounds crew who walk around the lot frequently. The pro shop has a lot of good stuff in case you forgot items needed. The lodge itself has a lot of history there and they have vintage pictures and trophies pretty cool. Well worth the drive out and greens fee. Course is designed well and has a past in golf history. I found it by my work when I was helping open a new store. Practice facilities are cool too.

Well managed course with beautiful terrain and views of downtown. Challenging slopes on the back 9 and wide fairways to accommodate my slice 🍕.

Love this course. It has a great design with a lot of variety in the holes. When golf everywhere is getting so pricey, it's great to have such good public options.

I can’t put my finger on why, but this is one of my fav courses in the Seattle area. It’s casual, has a variety of interesting holes, and the views of the city are awesome. Club house staff are also very friendly. Suggestion: Please allow us to book as a single!

Some fun holes but the back nice is kind of a slog with repetitive holes. And no driving range.

Played this course 10+ times. Uniquely bad customer service experience every time. The people at the front desk do not enjoy their jobs and project that onto the players. Our cart was not functioning properly (after paying $36 for it between the two of us). We went into the pro shop at the 9th and they refused to give us a new one, instead saying “it’ll work” and ignoring our request. We went back in and requested to change again, only for them to give us a cart number that didn’t exist. We paid $92 each today and left very disappointed. Won’t be back. Suggest bellevue golf course as a better…
