First timer and knew I was in trouble when at check-in the woman confirmed we were walking and then said "God luv ya". I quickly learned the sentiment behind the comment. Long holes and steep hills - I would take a cart next time. Still, it was a fun course and good condition. Interesting holes with a few blind ones.

Really fun course. Just the right amount of challenging holes mixed with generous forgiving holes. Don't let the run down clubhouse, beat up carts and unorganized parking lot fool or deter you from playing this scenic course. Well worth the $72 for 18 holes & cart. Friendly staff!

Haven't played the course in a while and today I was pleasantly surprised at the overall condition! Fairways, greens and tees in great shape! Pace of play was perfect. 18 holes in just under 4 hours teeing off at 7am on a Saturday. We will be back !

One of the most challenging courses in the area. Greens have improved over the years and are rolled and true. The crew has been working on irrigation this year upgrading what seems like all the heads. Some holes are low lying so drainage is naturally an issue like any other course. I hope bunkers are next on the list for rehab? Over all great shape for a muni that has a lot of play. Bruce and Sue and the entire staff is doing a great job with this old gem. It should only get better and better.

Great course. Usually pretty wet and the marshall is grumpy, but everyone else is friendly and the price is right. Editing this review, as this Saturday I brought my friends to play. Pace of play was horrendous (almost 6 hours for 18 holes??) people in front of us teeing off again because they couldn't find a ball, horrible etiquette all around. Worst part? No cart girls and the bar closed at like 3. So no turn drinks or hot dogs to make the 6 hour round a little less awful. The like at the 18th hole tee box was so long we just left. Unbelievable. Really, really disappointing that I got ch…

Great fun on the course. There are too many wet areas that do not drain well. The course looked good, but they obviously had a cavitation issue with their green mower blades. The ball bounced. Breakfast was not that appealing.

Beautiful fun course. A wide variety of wildlife (turtles, gophers, bunnies, hawks, deer and a STORM of bugs) Good lord the bugs! There were some very soggy spots that smelled like a drain field. But overall the tee box placement and course design was great. We were held back at start to wait for a late member. Causing us to start 20min late. Overall- I’d play again but will hold off until the fall

Interesting designed public golf course. You can definitely see where the D. Ross design holes remain. The loop, front 3 holes are isolated and are a bit boring. Holes 14 and 18 are really fun and interesting from the white or blue tees. The greens were a little bumpy and did not roll smoothly. The sand in many bunkers had large gravel which should really be sifted out. All of the gravel cart paths need to be regraded, badly. Tree limbs and leaves still need a good push to get rid of them. I don't play from the greens or red, but I would like to see a little more emphasis on defining a tee box…
