In summary

Whitetail Run Golf Course is highly praised for its well-maintained condition and unique layout, featuring a tree-lined front nine and a more open, links-style back nine. Visitors frequently commend the friendly and knowledgeable staff, as well as the family-friendly atmosphere and reasonable prices. 5 stars for overall value. This is a classic Minnesota small town course that has been expanded to 18 holes. Just SW of the Brainerd area, it is worth a ride over to play. The front 9 is tree lined fairways that will have you keeping shots straight down the fairway. The back 9 was built out more links style and the wind will come in to play. It is courses like Whitetail Run that you never should overlook! It was a fantastic round of golf!

A challenge of two different nines. The front is shorter, but has tight fairways and small greens. The back newer nine is longer and more wide open with large greens and hazards throughout. Course was in great shape. Nice clubhouse.

One of the nicest city run courses you'll find in the State. Impeccable maintenance. Plenty of staff working that keeps things moving. Two completely different 9 hole formats that make the course enjoyable.

Enjoyable course with a friendly staff. I came back the very next day to play again. It's challenging but not terribly hard for anovice player like myself. The front and back 9's are almost like 2 different courses.

Great golf course in an unassuming location. I actually went golfing here for the first time during deer season! The fairways and greens were still in top shape. Holes were challenging but approachable. If you go golfing here, make sure to check out the Bloody Marys! So good.

Good time, decent course (I'm not an avid golfer though, so take that with a grain of salt). Most holes were a pretty straight shot. Nice, polite staff that are willing to help.

The course was in pretty good shape considering how dry it has been. The fairways were good and the greens were in goidbyo very good condition. Friendly staff too.
