Whittier Narrows Golf Course offers a reasonably priced golfing experience with a decent driving range and well-maintained greens, making it a suitable option for skill improvement. However, many visitors have expressed concerns about the poor condition of the fairways, outdated facilities, and inconsistent customer service, which detract from the overall experience. $23 for 9 holes walking...best price in the area. Greens are true. Fairways not so much but its a fun course.

The Whittier Narrows course improved a lot after the Covid pandemic, but its condition has been getting worse throughout 2025. I truly love this place and have been coming here for over 20 years, but I don’t think I’ll be returning for a while. Many areas of the fairway are now just bare dirt, making it almost impossible to play golf, and the greens are no longer maintained as well as they used to be—they’ve become quite slow.

I played this course in July, 2025, and I genuinely think it sucked all my golf powers and ability away from me. I haven’t been the same since. Echoing all the other ‘1’ star reviews, the course conditions are as atrocious as advertised. The real kicker was that as we were about to tee off, one of my buddy’s asked if there is a restroom on the course, to which the starter responded something to the effect of “pee wherever you want, it’s pretty dry everywhere out here” lol 😂. Tells you all you need to know. LA has a massive shortage of playable, public courses, so I hope WNGC can turn it aroun…

Greens are decent. Driving range mats are hard and outdated. Fairways and tee boxes arent well maintained. Rough turf and dirt mounds. Lots of gopher holes.

The absolute worst golf course I have ever played at. The fairways are so rought you need hiking boots and a hiking stick to walk through them, the layout is confusing and every single hole looks identical. Customer service was poor, Mike (who claims to be the manager) has the worst customer services I've ever seen. Doesnt care about the players experience at all.

This is honestly one of the worst golf course experiences I’ve ever had. I left my golf bag outside the restroom for a short time, and my club headcovers were stolen. When I reported it, the course staff would not check the security cameras. That kind of attitude shows a complete lack of responsibility and basic management. What’s the point of having cameras if they won’t use them when something goes wrong? On top of that, the golf carts are terrible. The paths are full of bumps and holes, making the ride uncomfortable and poorly maintained. It doesn’t feel like a proper golf course at all.…

First time here and this place is not worth what they charge. First, the carts are in raggedy condition. The guy at the desk was not helpful with assisting myself and another customer with navigating the website where we were unable book a tee time even with an account. This was a major issue for the client ahead of me. Pace of play should not be this bad, even on a weekend.

Suggestions is need new Golf mat. Is been too old haven't been change it for long time. Golf range is make a lot of profit, so why don't make it 2 layer hitting range like monterey park or alhambra golf course. That is great business idea.

Two stars for the staff and greens. Course is in rough condition and that’s the irony. The fairways played like the rough, as in not mowed in a while. Lots of dirt patches as well. Not sure if we would play here ever again. It would be one star if it wasn’t super twilight and they let us go out 15 mins early because the course was pretty empty. It played slowed because it took a while to find your ball, even when on the fairway or just off. Greens were true though and in decent shape. And my cart died. Thanks good ness it was at 18!

visited there for a driving range, $5 for small bucket and $12 for big one. visited another day for 18 holes (River+Pine) total 6812 yards a bit long, the fairway is a mess, just like hazard, very flat with no up and down; however the green in good condition.

This is one of the public golf course in the 626 area. There are a lot of parking spaces. Staff at the pro shop is friendly. I did not have a chance to try their cafe. This course has a pretty long distance. However, it was not well maintained. The lawn on the fairway was long, and I did not get a lot of roll. There times that you will not be able to fine your golf ball if you hit it to the rough because the rough is long. I will not likely to come back due to the course condition.

The golf course is pretty wide opened but quite challenging because of strong wind from time to time. Weekends are pretty slow to finish the game. Otherwise, it's not too bad.
