In summary

Alhambra Golf Course is appreciated for its well-maintained grounds, friendly staff, and additional amenities such as a multi-level driving range and practice areas. The course offers a short but challenging layout, making it a fun experience for many players. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow pace of play, occasional maintenance concerns, and crowded conditions, particularly on weekends and during peak times.

Literally the worst golf course I been in LA area. Pace is soo slow that around 4 carts wait together for each hole; took 1 hr to play 2 holes. No maintenance as seen the grass are pretty barren. It is not expensive but with the same price I d rather choose several alternatives.

This could be one of the worst courses I’ve ever played. Several of the holes weren’t even actually green as you can see in the pictures. They didn’t warn us that the greens were aerated before we played. They claimed that because it said it on their website we should have had notice. Not only were the greens really bad but the whole entire fairway was unkept It was like the entire fairway was rough or fringe. This made it really hard to find your ball anywhere. We called to complain about it, but they were not very apologetic and claimed that we should’ve known. This was surprising because…

Short but tight course. In decent condition considering the drought situation. The practice facilities are very good. I had fun playing here. The greens are bumpy u can see on longer putts the ball will bounce in the air 3 times Killing the speed and stopping the ball from getting to the cup

This golf course is very nice. However, on 3:30 pm on a sunday had to wait for 1 hour for a tee time, but it was worth it. The geese poop was very disgusting and it was everywhere. UPDATE: 1 year later So I got like 100x better than a year ago so i’m only realizing now how dumb i was to not book a tee time on a sunday afternoon in the summer lol. The course itself is in good/okay conditions. Some of the greens have large dead spots. Fairways are mostly in great conditions. Bunkers however more like compact dirt and rock than sand 😂 This course is also on the short side, so have fun with your…

Prices have went up over time but still a solid deal regardless. The hours are fantastic here going to midnight on most days. Three-level gives plenty of options on where to drive from. I like the newer thicker turf pads they have added while there are still some of the older, thiner astro turf styles. A ton of parking, restrooms near the general course entrance about 150 yards away. Lastly, dinged it 1 star because the putting area is closed.

I rate it a 4 star . Played it Dec 21 2017 . The greens are super fast ( like putting on your concrete driveway ) long waits between holes , sit 15 minutes each hole waiting golfers ahead of you . Some fairways dyed out and hitting off dead grass. 5 1/2 hour play for sure . Food good at club house

Very pretty. Kinda tight. Sand varied but was good overall. Greens were a little furry. Recently sanded, early Oct.

Nice place no real complaints just isn't a top noch course but for the money it is very nice. I don't remember the exact price but under 60

Very decent short course Par 71, grounds are well kept. Some holes are challenging enough. Pro shop guys are awesome and there’s really good putting green and chipping area you can practice with no charge. Their multi level driving range is good enough to get some practice in.

This is short and challenging course. The fairways are narrow, and big trees are waiting for you if you miss the fairway. The course is pretty well maintained as a public golf course with a lot of traffic. Putting green, chipping green, and driving range are available for practice. There are plenty of parking space in the parking lot, and staff was friendly. Price is decent for a public golf course within the 626 area.

This is such a nice place to come to visit even if you're not here to golf. There's a park, pickleball courts and basketball courts. The usual sort of things that you find at a park there's a little lake with a fountain in the middle. Overall, it's a very nice area. Very crowded though. As far as the golf goes, we had a lot of fun and it's a great place to golf. We need to come back again. Hot dog $7.
