In summary

Windy Hill Sports Complex is appreciated for its friendly staff, engaging activities like miniature golf and batting cages, and a welcoming atmosphere, making it a popular choice for families and beginners. However, several visitors have expressed concerns over the deteriorating condition of the golf courses, particularly the greens and cart paths, and some feel the pricing does not reflect the quality of the facilities. While the complex offers a variety of recreational options, improvements in course maintenance and transparency about pricing could enhance the overall experience.

They have a pretty, landscaped mini golf course - there's actually two - a red one and a green one. The water feature was closed and drained b/c we went in November. The batting cages are okay but not fabulous. One was completely broken and out of order and then one broke and we had to go get someone to come fix it (which they did).

Overall, very tasty Sicilian thick crust, sauce very good, pepperoni is the "cupped" style, one of my favorites! Only fixable issue is it needed more cheese for my my taste. I would go back!

Great outing with the grandkids. They all had a blast going around the track. The guys working there were quick to assist anyone in need. We’ll be going bank.

Had my first lesson with Nichole and it was amazing! She is so knowledgeable in golf and helps explain the difference between the body composition differences between men and women. She's welcoming, friendly, and extremely encouraging. The facility and grounds are coming into spring and looking great. Very excited to have found her and looking forward to many more lessons!

I’ve been playing at Windy Hill on Midlothian Turnpike for a while now, and unfortunately, the course has only gotten worse over time. The greens are in terrible shape — burned out, patchy, and full of weeds, making it nearly impossible to putt. Most of the fairways are poorly maintained, and the tee boxes look like they’ve been completely neglected. For the price they charge, it’s hard to justify coming back. There are courses just down the road with perfectly kept greens, so it’s clearly a matter of putting money back into maintenance — and here, it’s obvious the owners aren’t doing that. E…

This golf course needs serious work. Played the lake course and it is in deplorable condition. Cart paths are impassible, at one place it is so steep it is like a 90 degree drop on a roller coaster. Golf carts barely can get going and make it up the hill. As you can see in my photo, the greens are non-existent. Fairways are more like rough. The worker in the photo couldn't stop blowing his leaf blower to allow me to focus on hitting the ball. Workers don't care about their jobs. Water coolers had barely any water and the water was dirty. Stuff in the shop isn't inventoried well and the worker…

My review was gone? Played here 2-3 weeks ago. The greens are very bad and for 50 per person with cart is a ridiculous price. Moreover, grass is too long and cart paths are unsafe.

It was our first time visiting and we really thought it was great friendly service and value. We had a great time with miniature golf as well as the batting cages. When it was time to leave, my son realized that he dropped his wallet which had over $100 in cash and was very upset. We found out somebody had returned it and every dollar was accounted for Obviously could not be more impressed with both Windy Hill as well as the people that patronize it and we’ll be back there to spend our money for sure! We signed up for the par three tomorrow and are excited

Had amazing time here! I did the front 9 of the lake course. I brought friends with that has never golfed before, we payed $35 each that includes the golf cart, we also rented golf clubs for additional $25. We had a great laugh as you can buy drinks (alcohol) to drive around with specially if you’re beginner. We were very slow so we did let people play through and everyone was very nice about it. Definitely be going again very soon.

Definitely not what i was expecting today. The course was cheap, but as you can see - could definitely benefit from some TLC and renovations

This golf course is heading in the right direction and doing amazing things for kids and people of all skill levels trying to get into golf! Highly recommend coming out for their special events like glow golf or adult mini golf or even just a fun day on the range or on either one of their two 9 hole courses. It truly is a great place for just a fun day as Nicole and her team are doing great things!

Do not go here for putt putt in winter. Website says $7 for seniors, we drove from the west end and the price was $12 each for 1 game. We were told it was because they decorated for Christmas. It was January 4th. The holidays are over. Why am I paying for this? Also, lights and wires in the way of the ball in some places and strings holding up inflatables were in the way to walk around the different holes. Can't believe nobody tripped and sued them yet. What a terrible job decorating. The web site also say's newly renovated. Looked like 5 years ago, maybe. They lost us for ever! An answer to…
