This used to be one of the better public courses in St. Louis. A unique links-style layout with great greens. I used to love playing here. Played yesterday and… what happened? Greens are still decent and roll well, but the rest of the course is rough. Fairways are hard with mixed grasses, tee boxes are beat up, and a lot of it is burnt out with dirt patches. On several holes, you can’t even tell where the fairway ends and the rough begins. If it were my first time playing, I’d have no idea where to aim. Paid $70 for a Sunday afternoon round, but there are plenty of courses in better shape.…

My new favorite course in the area. The setting is amazing, surrounded by beautiful wooded hills. The course is well-tended with a variety of interesting holes. The staff is remarkably friendly and helpful, including the on-course workers. Really all you can ask for. Check it out!

Course was in tough tough shape..I’d take your money/time elsewhere. 1. Fairways were soaked in some spots, dry and dirt in others. 2. Tee boxes were in tough shape too. 3. Bunkers were unplayable. 4. Don’t expect a rewarding shot if you find the fairway. Usually don’t roast courses, but driving past Pevely and Crescent, I will never be coming back.

I really enjoyed the links style set up and feel of this course. Not exactly a links course because the 9th hole ends by the club house, but everything else looked links. The fairways were in good condition along with the greens. The course sits in a valley, so the course has no hills. Hit out of the fairway and you are in some very high rough, I liked this. Several water hazards are thrown in to add to the challenge. The setting of the course is beautiful. The course is challenging but not overly difficult. For the money I thought it was worth the golf and I will return again.

Nice course. Conditions vary year to year. If you like links style this is one to give a try, but not always in the best of conditions.

First time playing here, fairways were in great shape and the greens rolled very true. Looks like they are in the middle of rebuilding alot of the bunkers. Great views and just a really nice course. Staff was great

Although club house is small, the staff provided free coffee and small chips. Course is authentic link style and bunkers are really fun here. You may encounter cows on some holes and they are the best galleries that I have ever seen because they stay quiet all the time without taking photographs with their smartphones.

The course has a fun and unique layout. Not many courses like this in the area that are so heavily links-style influenced, so it's a nice change in playing style and strategy. The starter was also friendly, informative, and paired people well enough that we were able to complete 18 holes in just under 4 hours on a Saturday, which is kind of rare nowadays. Unfortunately, the course is in horrible condition. I know it's early in the year and the grass isn't fully back, but some of things were just inexcusable, such as the mudpit sandtraps. Furthermore, there wasn't a single ball washer on the c…

Unbelievably over priced. $60 is a crazy price for greens with grass the length of the rough and not flat. Fairways are nearly non existent. GUR all over the place. Not entirely sure they know how to aerate greens as they still roll like they were punched 2 weeks ago. Just really makes it not fun.

This course sucks for $62 at 1:40 on Sunday. You have got to be out of your mind. I've played this course for years. You need mental help charging that much. How about fix your shit fairways, your bunkers and your tee boxes? Greens are the only thing that are good. But you get a bunch of people that won't fix a ball mark. Whatever. It sucks.

Course was ok, overpriced at $62 on Saturday afternoon. No bev cart, fairways were rock hard and you were basically penalized for hitting the fairway. Staff was nice, and clubhouse was ok. could be nice in the fall but overall probably won’t be back anytime soon
