In summary

Pevely Farms Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and scenic views, with many appreciating the friendly and professional staff. However, some visitors have noted issues with the pace of play, citing long rounds and occasional management concerns as areas for improvement. Despite these criticisms, the course remains a popular choice for its overall quality and beautiful setting.

The conditions of the course were amazing. Greens were very smooth but they were a tad bit slow. They were slow due to the greens being wet. It would be nice to trim the tee boxes too. Fairways were in phenomenal condition and the rough was not too penal. I got to go off 30 minutes early and got my round in under 3 hours. I ran into a group on the turn and they let me play through. Then I ran into a group on 16. I just took a few more minutes to pack up and clean my clubs while waiting for them to putt out on 18 where they met with 3 others for a total of seven on 18. It would have been nice…

Challenging course that is always in great shape. The staff is friendly and the rates are reasonable. Its one of the best public courses in the area. The sunset views here are second to none too!

Nicest course of the 3 in this area. Having said that it is well known for 5 or 6 hour rounds due to distances between holes and slow play. Give it a try. Nice mix of terrain from flat to water to mountains, but be prepared for a long round.

Blown away by the 1 star reviews. I've golfed all across the country and this was one of the best, most difficult, well maintained course I've ever golfed. Carts come with the 18. Assistant pro was really helpful too and took time to give us some pointers. Will be back. Loved this place

Great time playing golf today. Played nine holes and the course was pristine! A tough course but tons of fun! Only complaint is the high grass is brutal as it’s easily how to lose your ball because this is a rather hill-centered course. It was also a bit slow moving. We however, LOVE Kevin, the golf pro and his lessons have been instrumental in helping me improve my golf game.

We played the course on October 17. It is definitely a very challenging course but extremely well maintained. They have marshals on the course to keep play moving, although the back nine did take 2.5 hours. But overall, a great experience.

It is a beautiful course, but the design is so “bad”. Even if you hit a deadly straight driver on the fairway, you have to hit the iron on a slope. It doesn’t make any sense. It feels like you hit penalty shots the whole round.

One of my favorite course layouts condition is always great. Don’t know what some of these people are expecting. This is one of the nicest courses in St. Louis never really had the slow pay problem, but now that I think about it, there was a Marshall there that was kind of rude

Background: Played here at lest once a month for past 5 years. Executive summary: Slow play and poor value is the Pevely Brand. Skip it, go elsewhere. Detailed report: Pace 0/10. Slowest rounds of my entire life played here. Even the members say 4.5 hours is fast, although most rounds are 5+ even on weekdays. Course: 5/10. Condition great in some spots, and down right awful in others…. but layout is mainly just hills. Very Few flat lies. Often punished for good shots. It’s laughably silly in design on some holes. Greens: 7/10. Not too slow but not too fast, but chewed - no fixed marks. So…

Friendly pro, asst pro and other staff. Very nicely maintained course. Beautiful views on most holes. Only negative is that it's quite unforgiving/challenging (but makes you better).
