In summary

Alice Municipal Golf Club receives praise for its challenging layout, reasonable pricing, and friendly staff, with some visitors noting it as a well-kept course. However, there are significant concerns about the course's condition, particularly regarding dry fairways and greens affected by drought, as well as issues with management and maintenance. While some golfers appreciate the course's charm and amenities, others suggest improvements are needed to enhance the playing experience.

Pretty sad how bad this course has gotten over the years. They change management so many times & yet they all claim there gonna do amazing things & yet it’s getting worse & worse. If you want to play off of dirt tee boxes & dirt fairways with only a few greens being somewhat green but over ran with bumps & dry spots then this would be the course to play. Waste of time & money unless you really have nowhere else to play. Way better off making the drive to Oso or Gabe Lozano in corpus! HORRID SHAPE

Course is unplayable the drought has take its toll on the golf course. Middle of the fairway is all dirt no grass making the ball unplayable. You cannot distinguish the rough from the fairway. It been a long time since I have seen a course this bad.

Management sucks, more than groups of 8 playing most of the time and they always close early than what they say

Haven't played this course in a while. Right now, it is in the best shape I have ever seen it. Great lay out. Holes one, two and three have a low degree of difficulty so it kind of helps build your level of confidence. The back nine does have three very challenging holes and the direction of the wind can complicate things off the tee box on the par gives. Be careful of #17. I always tell myself I'm not gonna go for the green in two and lay up to the left side of the fairway and be happy with a one over par or even okay with a two over par. But, temptation gets the best of me when I hit a perfe…

The course is fine and kept up I guess.. but the other day I left my keys and my pillbox in a cart and when I went to ask about them the guy mentioned he had cleaned them all and yet my stuff was nowhere to be found. P.s. if ur reading this maintenance guy: make sure to eat and take with plenty of water.
