Very nice, hilly and wooded layout. Shorter course, but challenging. Greens were tricky, but fair. Nice driving range, chipping green and putting green. Nice clubhouse, stayed for fish and chips, very good. Sat on the balcony, overlooking the golf course. Very enjoyable time. $55, worth it.

West Branch Country Club is one of the areas best courses. It is challenging while at the same time, perfect for any casual player to test their skills. The entire staff will welcome you with open arms. Tom, is a good man. Good husband, father and friend, that knows how to run a business the proper way. The course is well maintained and beautiful. It is my favorite course in Ogemaw County!

My wife and I played here today for the first time. Tom, the owner, was incredible as was the course! Used every club in my bag today and it was definitely a challenge navigating all of the dog legs. Greens rolled true. Bunkers/sand were clean. By far the best golf course hot dog I've had as well. All in all - $65 for 18 makes this course a "must visit" for anyone in the area looking to golf.

Nice course. Hardest par 5 I've ever seen. And the bar and grill is phenomenal.

Such tranquility and peaceful. Absolute beauty of a course. Small fairways, but greens are easy.

Tee boxes, fairways and greens were in great shape which is what accounts for the three star review given. However, they seriously lack knowledge in course management as they kept letting groups of six and five playing together which totally slowed pace of play in the back nine. Their “ranger” didn’t even intercede despite the fact that repeatedly there were three groups waiting on holes as a result. Voicing a complaint after the round with Mr Meathead behind the counter prompted his calling out the fact that we finished in under five hours. What he failed to realize is that the only reason we…

Always very well manicured course with fast true greens, and a challenging course set up with welcoming staff. The marshall does a great job with customer relations and keeping up the pace of play. The MEATHEAD behind the counter is a top notch owner, who is an avid LIONS FAN, who will go above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience. JR's are always welcome! Wide variety of drinks and cigars.WBCC is a must play if youre in the area!

Will not return to the course. The front desk and course was very nice. The ranger however was very unprofessional. He approached us and stated that he could tell we have never played the course before and said because we was young we should not be using a cart and if we did to park it and walk as much as we could. After he left from us he proceeded to follow along harassing every group along the way as he traveled. Was very upsetting and will not return many other great courses in the area that care about the customer.

Parking lot could use more handicap spaces, not marked very well, lines are barely visible. Went inside to have a bite and it was more uncomfortable in the restaurant than outside (and it was bad outside!) manager seems very unhappy or just might not like his job, not sure which. Greens in good shape even after a lot of rain.

Course was in decent shape. But i just never feel welcome by the staff. I don't live local but play here often, but I get the feeling they prefer local customers best
